Gotta give the script writers for MK1 credit, there were alot of character origin and plotpoints that were explained and went into more detail. Thank God these writers didn't go on strike like the Hollywood ones, and I can almost guarantee they don't get paid as much as the Hollywood writers! (Just my honest opinion)

I like how Kung Lao might be upset that he lost, but he still accepts it and gives congratulations to Raiden on his victory. Being able to accept defeat means Kung Lao has a chance to grow further.
