A judge in New York ruled in favor of a Mom and Dad who could not get their 30 year old son to move out of the house. For years, they tried to get him to go. They sent him five eviction notices, they gave him money to move somewhere else, but he refused. We thought this was an interesting topic, so we went out on the street and asked people 'Do you still live with your parents? ' in a new #PedestrianQuestion. I lived with my parents with my husband and 3 kids into my 30s. I payed half the mortgage and paid for food and utilities and in turn I saved on babysitting and high rent costs. I worked 2 jobs for 10 years and finally saved up to buy a house this year. My parents loved having my kids around and I had a great relationship with them.

The point of the segment was to deride people who are too lazy to maintain their own homes and just leech off their parents. I am sure there are some people who live at home because their parents want them there. Those situations are probably beneficial to both parents and their adult children.

It cost me $20, 000 out of pocket to close on my house. Where in the world would I have gotten that kind of money if I was paying more for rent than I pay for my mortgage now? Think about that if you have the opportunity to live with your parents and swallow your pride

This clip is in bad taste there could be many reasons why they live with there parents and sometimes there parents could live with them a lot of other cultures people dont move out until they get married sometimes its easier to have other people help them out

I moved out at seventeen. My mother was using me as 'the man of the house, ' to keep her company and do whatever I was told to do. She begged me to come back! Yeah, she's my mom, but the slave labor and tight restrictions were just too much.

I'm 28 and live with my mom because of my disabilities, primarily seizures. If I were to have a seizure at home alone or with someone who doesn't know how to help, I could die. I love my mother and have no shame.

If you still not marriege, living with parent is not problem. I remember when my friend can't see his parent when his paren't die. Because he not have money to back at home.

Can anyone (especially from traditional countries) answer: is it OK to live in one room or this case can be an exclusion(better to move out)

In our country, it's a shame to not live with our parents. Basically everyones goal is to build a huge mansion to fit their whole family.
