People like to romanticize death and the absence of loved ones. We all are familiar with this ome fact that once someone is gone. thats it. Nothing can get him/her back, but people often try to escape the reality(even I used to do that until I read God Delusion by Richard Dawkins) as it makes them feel good. Its just an another illusion in which a majority of people end their lives living in.

Now, don't mix the myth of movie character with the real person! The slavery story has behind the fact that african workers/slaves were sold by african dealers/trades. Let's go to the root of the problem and then talk about consequences. At least African-Americans now have a special dedicated month to bring attention while others have nothing.
