City dwellers have know idea what the truth is about the forests. Mismanagement for generations because of tree huggers and earth firsters, Sierra club, left to much growth of trees.
Trump is not responsible for those years of mismanagement.
Selective and clear cuts as well as fire are beneficial for the forest.
Arson, careless campers and hunters are the big problem not climate change that are responsible for fires. Lightning storms are natural. But when you have a dense forest with no management it becomes a disastrous result. To many years of city folks move to the mountains and country blocking folage eradication because they don't want to do harm, when there homes burn down they blame someone else. Cut the forest down and manage the lumber and the growth, the ecosystem will like it.

Everyone in the comments talking about 'forest management' No such thing. You can clear dry brush all you want, but how fast can you clear it? In western states where it is not only extremely hot but also extremely dry, you cant clear out ENOUGH dry brush or dead trees to stop something like this from happening, it's just not possible. Nature will do as it pleases, all they can do in the west is lay fire retardant and hope for rain.

My fellow Americans - your president denies global warming and the danger that arises from the Corona virus like almost any other scientific insight. If you intend to protect your wonderful country for your children and grandchildren, you will need true leadership for the rest of the decade. This land is your land, this land is my land, from California the the New York island. Flush the turd Nov. 3rd.

Trump should have directed the funding to manage the federal forests in California. Having said that, If climate changes is the only cause of wild fires, then why does only the west coast of the US have this problem? I thought climate change would affect all forests the same way? You cant blame climate change when forests in California are happening more frequently than in places like Texas.

Nala!
Two problems. Most of the fires in California are not in forests, but in chaparral and grasslands. Theres no clearing on that type of land unless you want to spend billions of dollars to strip the land bare and have mudslides all over the place when the rains come.
Two, Why isnt the federal government doing the same thinning on the 40% of forests it owns in California?

If you want to help the victims of these fires, the best thing you can do is not vote for Democrats - Not in sacramento or anywhere locally within Kalifornia. The Federal Government has been prohibited from managing Federal Lands in California because Sacramento and other left wing environmentalist groups have sued to prevent it.

Trump is easing restrictions on pollutants so our sky's, rivers and lakes will be damaged by pollutants, there for allowing companies to dump chemicals where ever they want for a profit. He left Puerto Rico to fend for themselves and now California. He is not taking care of the country. Instead he is helping his own pockets

A big sprinkle system would help dramatically with not having so many fires. if we get rid of the dead plants, trees, hay the things that are ya know flamble etc. And keep the trees and ground wet during summer time and hot weather, I believe it would help dramatically. better management is needed!
