What a bunch of nasty, mean-spirited people on here. She's just joking about things lots of parents experience. Obviously, this is a loving family or the children wouldn't be sticking to the parents so much. It's clear they love their children, but at the same time, living with three young people is exhausting as you grow older, and some peace and quiet would be nice. That's all. I applaud them for not just supporting their son. It's a good lesson. I'm sure if he was in danger of being evicted or starving they'd help out, but they want him to learn he has to work for the good things and doing without for some things is good for him.

People hating on Kelly because they dont believe her when she says that her son is poor and that he is struggling living on his own. Like she obviously isnt gonna let him struggle to the point where he is gonna go homeless so she probably will help him out a little but she wants him to learn how to be well off on his own so shes not gonna fully help him. Stop the hate and stop judging. At least shes not raising her children to be spoiled, entitled and privileged brats who think they can do whatever they want and get away with everything just because they have celebrity parents.

Kelly saying that her son is experiencing extreme poverty could be the truth. maybe she and Mark want them to struggle the way they did before they became successful. They both didn't come from money and they want their children to learn the value of working hard to make their own money. It seems like they want their kids to become independent and not depend on Mommy and Daddy for anything.

People are so striggered. She may or not have lived in poverty herself but she probably didn't earn the money that she does now before she made it and the same with her husband Mark. I like the fact their letting them 'struggle' when they are leaving. They might help them out abit but that's what all parents do. People are so judgey these days.

Funny. No wonder the kids get embarrassed by their parents. Such a beautiful couple, doing financially well with as attractive young offspring, and hearing stories of home life on the air. Both parents and offspring have everything going for them and are very down-to-earth.

Good God I can't believe the flak going on about Kelly's comments about how he is doing on his own. To him it's extreme poverty but he's not actually. She received so much nonsense over this. People do something positive and stop the nonsense over a silly comment.

I like how consequent she is cause she knows thats the best. Most parents aren't that adamant to get their children out of the house and make them independent. Thats why there are so many adult children now, still living at home.
