Ive had the great privilege of playing onstage with Willie several times, both on Saxophone and Cello. He is an amazing entertainer, even as his voice has faded through years of smoking and just years of being. One of my Dads heroes growing up, and the smile on his face the first time he saw me live on stage backing up THE Willie Nelson was the single greatest look of a proud father I can ever remember.

It's so weird that I'm 70 yrs old and at age 5, I watched Willy on the Grand Old Opry with my dad. Of course, he looked old to me then. He wore a suit and had the oil slicked 50's haircut, lol. I had the opportunity to meet him 7 times in my life and even smoked with him once. Now, I'm in a wheelchair on my last leg, lol and here's Willy, still performing. He's an amazing man.

OMG, am I actually first! I saw Willie for free a few years back. A friend won tickets from the radio. Willie and family were the opening act for John Fogarty, if you can believe that. It was kind of a drag, tho. My friend didn't want to see Fogarty, so we left before the second song! I didn't even get to hear Fortunate Son! I don't speak to that former friend anymore.

The cringiest interview i have seen cuz of her. Willie deserves someone who could have made this a great conversation and willie would have spoke more. Not a hater, i know its her first show hope she shakes the cobwebs on her first few interviews but dang the actual Kimmel woulda been great

Willi is my legend of all times and I remember my mother play guitar with his music and my first remembrance of Willi was about 7-8 years old and I'm 62 so I've been very lucky to have him in my heart for a while now and pray many more to go. my dream husband love you my legendary friend
