I am a 50+ year old black dude and I think she is an incredible singer. To me she has a Billie Holiday vibe to her. There are some singers how can kinda sound like Whitney Houston (e. g. CeCe Winans, but absolutely noone can sound quite like Billie Eilish. She is a drawback to a time when singers were singers. Her appeal is universal. The idea that she contemplated suicide despite the fact she was given such a gift is also very intriguing.
