I am also a Kimmel. We're Pennsylvania Dutch. There are lots of Kimmels out there, actually. In my generation alone, there are 21 of us cousins descended from 4 brothers. This doesn't even count their cousins descended from Kimmels. 18 of us had children. 12 are men with the last name Kimmel which passed to their children. Generally, of course, the women's children take their father's last name.
Loved this interview with Jimmy O Yang! Aside from his great humor, he has the most infectious grin! Can't see it without grinning myself!

the fact that he's making it despite this face that he has, and these looks that he wears, and this shrimp body that he carries around, is a testimony to his character. Very funny but also very wholesome guy. I'm glad that it is possible to make it in Hollywood when you are that unattractive physically speaking.

I was a bit lucky when I was going to high school in Texas [get this, a super private religious boarding school at that! ] and the Harlem Globetrotters did a performance for us for the 3 years I went there [I was lucky enough to skip my Junior year] in our gymnasium so I saw them 3 times. Great to watch them!

It's actually funny, the O in Jimmy O. Yang's name isn't short for anything, his Chinese surname is Ouyang, but O. Yang is easier for westerners to understand. You can tell because his dad's name is Richard Ouyang and is credited as such.

I lived in China about 15 years ago, and I will say that at that time Hello Kitty was EXTREMELY popular. I had never seen the show, but being 5 year old girl I wound up owning a whole bunch of merchandise.

Jimmy O is super multi talented person. I discovered him a week ago on utube and I'm marathon watching everything I can find. His comedy, cooking, interviews are all so good. Love him
