Mr Hong illustrates well what it means to be Chinese-American.
Making his entrance with the auspicious Lion Dance, he proceeded to entertained us with his many talents; his James Cagney
Impersonation is unique, because he included a bit of Cantonese.
For him to have a lucrative, long-lasting career, in a business, where many other Chinese/Asian-Americans, don't even have an
opportunity, speaks to his extraordinary genius.

The Cantonese parts I've translated, roughly: I welcome everyone to watch Jimmy Kimmel's show! Look at how handsome he is, he's got hair on his chin. of course he'd have hair here (likely referring to his head. Now listen, he has to say a lot of jokes. some of them not too good! After the car giveaway line: But I do know they have to get the approval of the producers and I hear they are a bit stingy.

I always tell people that if you want a successful career in Hollywood you want it to be like how this guy did it. Always working. Making a nice living. Having the odd person come up to you to say high and all of this with no paparazzi and magazines using you as a focus for gossip and hate.

I was introduced to James through his fantastic voice work. He's got a real unique and amazing voice and I always find myself smiling when I hear it. I never knew just how decorated of an actor he was also! Good for him finally receiving his Star.

Yes! He makes me proud to be from Hong Kong. What a legend. So bright and sharp for an elderly man, let alone someone in their nineties. Hes got an amazing sense of humour too. The Cantonese bit at the end cracked me up

Loved this. James Hong is a both a national and an international treasure, and a true embodiment of what America and Hollywood are capable of. At 93, he has more energy and wit than a lot of 25 year olds out there!

This gentleman played multiple roles in the Original Kung Fu T. V. series, and all of them different. An old master, a desperately hungry guy, a bad prince, everything. Great actor.

I know what the movie is about, its about how this is one of the reasons we can't contact the IRS and it takes 5 hours to reach someone before getting hanged up on.

I have heard that he was the leader of a criminal gang. I'm not sure if it's true though. He looks gentle and nice and he was part of my childhood through movies I watched.
