Hey Jimmy let's Talk about the Assault weapons Ban that was in effect during one of the worst School shootings Columbine school 4/20/1999 the Assault weapons ban did not stop Columbine from happening in fact the government did there own study that showed no discernable difference in crime! Then you got gun laws well the cities with the most gun laws are the most dangerous places for gun related crime because criminals don't follow the law they don't say oh a no gun zone better go around no they got a gun and they know no one will stop them so stop pushing gun control on ppl unless your willing to go to these places without security your self with no protection Ted Cruz is right we need to harden these schools and just cause there is one entrance don't mean there aren't fire exits that can only open from inside are have you never been to a actual school before you dummy, Guns aren't the problems it's society locking kids in there houses for years not letting ppl associate and have a social life but you can go on TV every week and push the president's Agenda without question

Who benefits from mass shootings in America? Lets follow the money. First, the gun manufacturers benefit because gun sales always spike after highly publicized shootings, due to increased fear, hysteria and paranoia among the public. Then the gun manufacturers pay the gun lobbies and NRA, so they benefit next. Then the NRA pays the Republicans, who also benefit from this blood money. Then the Republicans back laws that make it easier to purchase guns, which leads to more gun sales and increased profits for the gun industry. Republicans then also spread extreme ideologies like the great replacement theory and other wacko conspiracies, which leads to more radicalization among the gullible masses. Then they dont fund mental health, which leads to more crazy behavior. All this combined leads to more mass shootings. And so the cycle continues. Republicans are for the killers and mass shooters.

NUT JOBS like this dont get to make Uvalde a partisan tragedy. Focus on mental health, social media culture as a disaster, why response to a single active shooter fails time and time again with keystone cops not willing to go through the door. You got to look at these circumstances a background check would have only stopped one of the last seven or eight masks killings, cuz no one else had any kind of a background to check they were either too young or they weren't they weren't in the system under any kind of mental health guidance or anything. If that would even be part of the rubric, probably should be timer you know if you're diagnosed is mentally going in a different direction then perhaps the firing range isn't for you just yet. I don't know I don't know it's not one solution that's for sure but action on the solving has to occur now

As a UK citizen, it is totally beyond insane to me that anyone has free access to what are essentially personal WMDs. The only people who require access to firearms are military personnel, armed response police units, and certain categories of pest control workers. Beyond that, there is no sane or justifiable reason for any human being to possess a firearm of any description. The USA is in grave danger of being abandoned and sidelined by the rest of the world if this wild west mentality, which is centuries out of date now, is not stopped in its tracks immediately and permanently.

In what world is it normal for a 8yo child to say she covered herself in her best friends blood and pretended to be dead so she could live because she knew her friend had already passed! My son is 7 yo and i cant IMAGINE this ever coming out of his mouth. And the fact that law enforcement standing outside was more worried abt cuffing the mothers who were running into that school with NO FEAR to save their kids? Good on those moms! Those cops didnt do their jobs. The parents were more brave than the damn ppl paid to be!

Its good to see that so many Americans are finally starting to see what those of us outside the country have seen. Its just very saddening to know that it will probably lead to nothing, like always. Its like Jimmy said, people move on with their lives and the Republicans and NRA are able to get back to business as usual.

Start demanding answers from the FBI. Werent his purchases approved by the FBI? Firearms purchases require form 4473 and to be ran through the NICS database. An 18 year old purchasing almost 10 grand in firearms and accessories should set off a couple of common sense alarms.

Me watching this from a third world country where I don't have even access to basic human rights because somewhere in past United States decided it would be nice to interfere into our politics and then they ruined my country and left it with no remorse.
