After all the shootings and talking points, nothing new will happen. No gun restrictions will happen especially this close to the mid terms. Politicians know the number of Americans wanting any gun restrictions the media claims is not true. If the numbers as high as the media claims for gun control you would have it already. Get use to guns because both parties are buying them in record numbers. Well over 450 million guns in American homes, know way to remove that many. The second amendment will always be in the way.

Beyond the suggestions by Cruz being totally ignorant and asinine, there is video footage that the back door in question was closed by the teacher it just didn't latch AND turning a school into a fortress is now making the students feel like they are actually in a prison and how is that going to help in any way with having an effective learning environment, you know, that thing a school is suposed to do for children?

When conservative republicans say the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun doesnt see that all of the school shootings were done by so-called good guys. The majority of the school shooters were white middle-class males from suburban and rural areas with no criminal records. Usually in most cases that is considered to be the so-called good guys profile.

So it seems that Cruz, is okay with schools getting shot up, get guns outa of these peoples hands it shouldnt come to parents having their kids go to school in bullet proof vests, and have armored windows. Also Ive played video games where Ive killed people Im old enough to know not to do cause there are real consequences to actions

Perhaps it should be made law that you cant buy a gun at 18UNLESS you sign up to the army for six months training. Might help pick up the mentally Ill people wanting guns
