Oh, I LOVED this! She is an absolute Super Hero in the real world. Her work is just astounding. And to see her still of full mind and body is awesome! I've known of her my entire life having grown up in the Central Valley of California and where her organization is located specifically. Si Se Puede is a common chant at any kind of protest in the area that is in favor of basic human rights and respect. It's a chant that as an entitled white girl, that doesn't know hard work anywhere near like what our farm field workers do, I appreciate what it means. One huge regret I have is that on a plane trip home from a work function (Majorly Republican), I sat in the seat behind her and her travel companion. I was so star struck and recognizing that she was more than likely going home I didn't want to bother her. My regret is telling her how appreciative I am of all her work. I wanted to really bad, but I couldn't find the courage to speak to someone whose so much an idol to me.

I just wrote to my U. S. Senator to demand that the masked thugs abducting law-abiding, hardworking immigrants be forced to unmask and identify themselves, because I don't believe for a minute that all of them are real officials and not bounty hunters posing as cops (which, btw, is a crime. I encourage anyone who cares about this happening in our country to do the same. It takes only minutes, and most members of the Senate and House can be contacted through their official websites.

I had the pleasure to meet Dolores when I worked for a nonprofit called Farmworker Justice. We invited her to speak at our annual event in 2023 and she asked if one of the staff could pick her up, which I did without hesitation. Not only did she fly the red-eye from Bakersfield to Baltimore, she flew SPIRIT airlines. She was an absolute delight and it was honor to meet such an amazing individual. Si se puede!

I delivered newspapers in the sixties and read the entire paper before I bundled them up. My parents were liberals to the core and I was immersed in the principles of democracy and human rights. I'd read about her and Cesar Chavez almost every week as I lived in California. She is the epitome of a driving force for humanity. I'm blessed to have shared the same state with her.

Hello! What a joy to see Dolores Huerta on the show last night. West Edge Opera is producing a world premiere opera about her written by her cousin. She will be in attendance at opening night on August 2. We've been working on it with Dolores herself for 5 years. Would love to welcome everyone to Oakland to meet the creative team and artist who bring this story to life.

Havent seen the interview, I just wanna say that hipocrisy knows no limits. This guy is against an actual democratically elected government that is actually doing good things for the people and trying to turn the country around. Yet here he is, of course he knows that this interview means nothing in the state of things. But where there is change going on he has spoken against.

A true example of life in service to others. Thank you God for giving Dolores Hierta a long life. These are the times we need her. A true inspiration and a breath of hope. In these times of so much racism, we wish for peace and love for the world, starting with the environment in which we live. Diversity is the strength, development, and beauty of a country.

Thank you so much for giving Mrs. Huerta this platform, Jimmy The amount of care and compassion you show for immigrants and the fact that you treat them on such a human level when acknowledging they are such a part of your own community is very humbling and very much appreciated. We love you, Jimmy!

I've been a Diego Luna fan for awhile now but these four nights have made me have even more respect for him. He brought a sense of hope to every show this week. His first monologue had me in tears. I'm so grateful that Jimmy picked him to guest host.

Hi Diego: What a great honor and privilege to meet Dolores Huerta! Her life is so inspirational and I hope that she inspires more people to get upset and stand up to ICE. Nosotros tenemos el poder! Si Se Puerte! (We got the power. Yes we can)

I walked with her and Cesar Chavez in Stockton California when I was 7 years old. I remember my Dad playing the guitar for Cesar Chavez leading the march down Stockton streets on the south side. Memories of my father. Hardest working man I know.

Aprovechando la oportunidad los agentes de ICE estan pidiendo un promedio de 6000 dolares para liberar gente con green card y incluso migrantes que son detenidos (sin proceso legal) solo por ser latinos. ningun noticiario lo ha mencionado

We will defend the Innocent Undocumented tax paying workers being taken away by the illegal ICE raids instead of the real criminals! We Dems Will Take care of The Corrupt Criminals in the White House soon! Vote.

Thank you for having Delores Huerta on the show. My heroine, underplayed leader overshadowed by Cesar Chavez. Not his fault. The times were not taking women seriously. She is my hero forever. Viva la raza. Si se puede!

I remember when I met her 1969. I didn't know who she was and I didn't get a sense there was anything special about her. Then she walked from the back of the room to the front and began to speak.

NO WAY she’s 96! She’s way to spry and animated! Nothing but admiration for her. Definitely someone who has enjoyed their life’s work. Don’t stop Dolores! We need your kind of chutzpah.
