One can clearly see which artist that covered this song was the basis for this performance.
Yes, the Beatles original was nice, but it was Joe Cocker who OWNED it.
The line I will try not to sing out of key was emblematic - excuse me, because I probably will, but in exchange for that you will get ALL of my heart and my soul, zero restraints.
These here are certainly all the way better singers, but therefore they do not have the rawness and roughness Joe Cocker poured into his performance to make up for this.

We lost our home in the Altadena fire and I can’t really describe just how well this hits the mark.
Krasno and the Goldsmith Brothers (Dawes) live within our community as parents, neighbors, and friends. They fit right in and it’s been amazing to see their pride shine through this year. Great humans.
Can’t wait for the show!

Good song, but can we talk about those two women for a second Why do I get creepy cult vibe feelings from them I feel like I'm just waiting for them to tell me that they're from Scientology, or something, and that they want to take me to their leader. Gleep Glop Gloop Beep Beep Beep. lol

This was fantastic. One of my favorite songs - and this version is nearly perfect. I had full-on goosebumps. I only wish they had the time to let Taylor go off and jam more at the end.

No reason to cover this song when it's already been done, and done better by The Beatles & Joe Cocker.
They're not even particularly good singers, that's the wild part!

This song always gets me. Great rendition by all.
The Joe Cocker version played on KEXP the other day, and I sat in my car in the grocery store parking lot until it finished.

The original version of this song seemed so simple and modest. Now, a cover version of a 56-year-old cover version gets raves. That says something.

So many talentless haters. Cover was cool as hell. I don’t nitpick. I’m a fan of the song. Ya’ll need to touch grass as they say

love they're doing the Joe Cocker version instead of the Beatles. not that anything is wrong w/ the Beatles, it was such a good interpretation

Thanks for posting this. My DVR glitched so I couldn’t view this and now I’m so grateful to see the performance! Thanks again.
