Heh. It is amusing how accurate this is with how outward behavior develops into traits and aspirations. I don-t like that they-re promoting that, though, as that only applies to someone who relies on the images others have of someone. That in and of itself should be established first and foremost, as a trait- how someone sees themselves, what they value, thus what kinds of traits and aspirations they develop. These things don-t change with their behavior, they change with personal growth. What changes with someone-s behavior, is another-s view of that someone. To me, by them promoting a system like that they-re either normalizing personal growth and well-being, sacrificed for another-s image of you, or making fun of how normalized it already is in this society. I know this game to make satire of such things, but they don-t seem to be making a statement with it, which is unsettling for me.
Ah, what a shame.

There should be a childhood stuff pack which adds stuff from the Sims 3 into the Sims 4. Like bunk beds, more swings, a jungle gym, a slide, a treehouse (That's maybe not a rabbit hole) and other stuff, like VR systems, and more stuff that would be able to make kids happy. But seeing daddy's cum in your treehouse would be kind of weird.
But yes, they could alter it, or add some of that stuff, probably the slide, to base game. Maybe even those weird beds that are just a top bunk with something below it, but you never know with EA. Maybe they'll do a stuff pack dedicated to teenagers, or even babies. Not toddlers, because they already did that.

I really don't use kids in this game, and rarely even use Teens. I don't even use Adults. I create -young adult- Sims and then turn off aging. I also don't let my sims get pregnant, because I don't want to deal with babies. I just like to have an infinitely long 18-21 year old life doing adult things. That said, because of the new CAS and Build Mode stuff, plus all the new interactions and how much it changes the actual gameplay. I'm considering getting this pack since it's on sale on PSN right now. And yes, I also have the fault of playing Sims 4 on console. i'm just terrible all around, aren't I?

This convinced me to purchase the parenthood pack; I've always found the children to parents interactions very stale in the base game. There are about 20 interactions you can do in each lifestate, and it's always felt limiting. I usually don't play with children because of this, and have difficulty moving past the first or second generation. So, hopefully, this pack is exactly what I need to revitalize my gameplay.

this pack is really fun to play but what sucks is you don't really need to. if you ignore the whole pack all that happens is toddlers and kids make messes and teens get random moodlets, there's no consequences for not raising them and it doesn't have much of an effect when they become adults. i just wish it had a lil more unpredictability and noticeable impacts on behavior

I am highly annoyed that this pack is supposed to be similar to generations and yet there are no strollers. In Pets we can walk our dogs but I can't go on a stroll with my toddler. Island Living comes with boats, something that we won't be using often or every day, but we can't have at least one stroller. I just had to get this off my chest, this I why I still play Sims 3.

I think it's good that people who have been parented in the sims are still relatively normal, I think it shows that your childhood doesn't have to define you and no matter how bad your parents are you can still be an individual. (Obviously this isn't to discredit trauma/lifelong mental health effects bad parenting can cause, don't take this the wrong way haha)

I keep coming to this video because I can't help but laugh my ass off every time at Duke farting and saying -brah! -, plus the way you say -sharts- and the chuckle after it, I lose my shit (hehe) everytime. And the offspring reference also gets me everytime. Thank you for being so funny, this video is therapy to me

I have 25$ on PlayStation and it's either Parenthood or outdoor retreat. And to be honest I don't have kids in Sims because their annoying up until teen/young adult. And I feel like Parenthood won't change it I still would rather age up my kids to young adults so I don't have to do everything
