Its lame, people having problem with michelle not having red hair or pale skin or not wearing makeup or not being those regular goody two shoes female lead of a spiderman movie. Zendaya slayed with this character & I honestly love michelle and the fact that shes totally different from what Mary Jane was makes her so much more appealing. This girls completely kick ass. Going to be refreshing to watch peter & michelle bond together. they have this potential.

I love that his love interest (Liz) is a coloured girl. though Michelle (another coloured girl. yay) was one of the more interesting characters in the film. snarky, acerbic, smart, funny her. Hopefully, Michelle's character will be expanded in future films.

If you know the show they you'd know that Liz always is Pete's friend and MJ is the girl he's in love with. But in this movie MJ is more of a nerd and hints she might secretly like Peter. I like the new way their doing it now.
