Defenders Easter Eggs You Missed Jose: Iron Fist's biggest mistake is the casting of Danny Rand and how they handle his character. We see the story of a strong worrior who for some reason was chosen to guard his city but left for personal vengeance i guess? Then it feels like he doesn't know what he is doing, to then being manipuled by every single person he encounters. He is the only character who doesn't know what to do or what to think, he is confused all the time.
So correcting some of you (IMO and general opinion)
Defenders 7. 5/10
Iron Fist 3/10
Daredevil Season 1 9. 5/10
Daredevil Season 2 9/10
Jessica Jones 10/10 (Jessica Jones is the best of them all imo as the villain is perfect, the motivations for every character are perfect, and the cast is amazing, there's no dissapointing second half or anything. But I do believe that Matt Murdock is a more intresting charcater)
Luke Cage 8/10

that luke cage part, i almost turned it off. until i thought maybe theyre trying to show us how people these days really are. luke basically assumed because danny was white and inherited the money( in the end of fighting for it should we mention, he was some snob that never had to work for anything, luke and blacks like this are the real racist because they judge by skin color. but danny didnt see a black kid and assume Criminal. he judged him by his actions and being involed of the activites. but luke actually defended the criminal and says your white and he is black leave him alone and says he has to feed a family, sound just like any black lives people defending criminals and gang bangers and says because your white and you have money you cant have an opinion on what happens in the world.

Daredevil Season 1 - 10/10
Daredevil Season 2 - 10/10
Jessica Jones Season 1 - 9/10
Luke Cage Season 1 - 9/10
Iron Fist Season 1 - 6/10
Defenders Season 1 - 7/10
Now, I won't get into the nitty gritty of why. However I'd just like to say I don't think Iron Fist should get that much hate. It did give us a couple good characters (Colleen and Bakudo, it did okay to establish KunL'un, and the overall lesson Danny had to learn, I think was a gnarly and interesting one. I really think the guy who played daddy Meechum was a great actor and can't wait to see that further unfold.
Lasting thought, I think everyone will sing praises over Iron Fist in comparison to what's about to happen with Inhumans. lol

Don't read my reasoning if you don't want spoilers:
The reason I scored Luke and Iron Fist that low is because the action scenes were lacking and the writing was annoying at times. I would of given Luke Cage a higher score than Iron Fist if they kept Cottonmouth instead of replacing him with a religious dumbass and black Hillary. The only thing I really loved about both shows is how Luke Cage is set in Harlem while Iron Fist has those scenes with Colleen in the cage fights, but it's not enough to save the shows in my opinion.

The Sister Maggie scene was SO fast, a bit more could have been done with it, but it sets up good stuff for future stories. In the Born Again story arc, it wasn't long after Maggie cared for DD that he wound up battling Nuke. And the Netflix MCU has hinted at the pharma-tech that led to Nuke in the comics in minor and major ways here and there. There's been enough hints in that regard that the Nuke storyline should be used for one of the plots next season.

Danny Rand crashed in the Himalayas when he was 7. He grew up eating rice and beans and washing it down with plain water. Meat and tea was a luxury treat for him. He spent every waking hour under harsh and cruel training and almost died actually earning his powers. When he got back he fought, physically and legally, to get his company and yes his money back which he almost never used unless it was necessary. So, tell me how exactly is he privileged.

It was only OK and that's because I binged watched which is the only way to watch. That's not a good thing. You can't sit down and watch a random episode and think that was pretty good. My son started watching ep. 7 and decided it's not worth going back and watch every ep. of every show just to know what's happening. I like episodic story lines within the main story arc. This had none. If it were a one ep. a week show I don't think I'd watch.

Show could have used more actual super-powered villains that would have been more of a challenge to the Defenders instead of legions of thug punching bags that I guess were supposed to be ninjas but didn't dress like it or use ninja weapons particularly besides a few swords and other bladed implements. It would have been cooler if more thugs wore more ninjalike outfits and chucked some shuriken around once in a while.

Dont forget about every with particular characters has their colours everywhere in frame, eg. in some of Lukes scences, there is yellow items everywhere, or for Jessica, her scences are literated with blue. There is actually a great example of this, where the four are in a restaurant and sitting around table, as the camera focus's on each individual their colours are every where around and quite in focus lol

Didn't miss any of the eight easter eggs and references to the MCU. Might as well not even be connected at this point. I mean, wasn't Defenders supposed to connect us to the Avengers in some way? Wasn't that what this was all about? Whatever. Disappointing season all around.
Defenders 7. 2/10
Iron Fist 4/10
Luke Cage 6/10
Jessica Jones 10/10
Daredevil (1 & 2) 10/10
