I'm honestly not a fan of this pairing. I used to be a little until my sister explained how abusive it is and now it really disturbs me that there are people who think this relationship is ideal and romanticize it. I understand some people are into pain and it turns them on, and that's fine, but only when it's consensual. This relationship is not that, it's straight up abusive. Harley and Ivy for the win!

and thats why all the things about harley quinn since the new 52 have sucked. quinn is nothing with out the joker, she is meant to be a tragic character, if shes not thinking about the joker then she isn't even a villain anymore and she's not necessary as a character. its also why all the movie versions of her have sucked cause they're built around the 52 version who again is awful.

Of course the original animated Harley Quinn does also get an epilogue in Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. Without the Joker's influence, she actually goes straight, but ends up with two granddaughters who join the Jokerz, something she greatly disapproves of despite bailing them both out of jail

UNPOPULAR OPINION:
I don't like Harley that much I mean when she was with Joker she had problems and had good characteristics and now she is just some Mary sue that is unstoppable. Even joker had problems and gets defeated. I don't like the new Harley quinn.

You cant beat the original, the first one is the true story. As time goes by they will always have new writers with their own ideas for the character and say this is the real story. You cant change someones beginning just to fit your ideals.

Harley, without Mr. J is like smores without chocolate. Sorry but Harley has to have some connection to the Joker be it a heart wants what the heart wants or I hate that I love you connection it has to be there.

yeah. I too didn't understand the emancipation part of the (Birds of Prey) title
like. the Joker rescues her twice in SS & he works all around the movie to save her
they forgot to build up the story
