References You May Have Missed In Rick And Morty White: To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewers head. Theres also Ricks nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that theyre not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldnt appreciate, for instance, the humour in Ricks existential catchphrase Wubba Lubba Dub Dub, which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenevs Russian epic Fathers and Sons. Im smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmons genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools. how I pity them.
And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. Its for the ladies eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that theyre within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid

All of these references have been stated in multiple other Rick and Morty References videos posted on YouTube over the past two or three years. Not a single one of these references is from season 3, which just wrapped up literally yesterday. Way to recycle what everyone already knows, Looper. And here I was excited to find a Looper video with a +90% like to dislike ratio. at time of comment posting.

Practically everything in Rick and Morty is a reference to something, in some way. Even the character design for Rick and Morty comes from Back to the Future's Dr. Brown and Marty McFly. It's sorta like Family Guy with their '80s pop culture references, except it's Sci-Fi and more hidden and x100.
Thanks for the video! The fans are definitely keeping this great animated series alive.

A lot of this stuff was things no one missed. No one missed that Weekend at Dead Cat Lady's House II was a reference to Weekened at Bernie's. No one missed that Mr. Needful was a reference to Needful Things and the dead cat/child was a reference to Pet Semetary.

It's never what's there, but what's not. But don't look it too deep in the eyes, just look between the lines. lol
It may be a little irrelevant but you should have put that reference in the video. Oh well, if Rick were real, he'd get it. X, D

Aaannndd It's dead. Welp, they had a good run before the musicly kids and the rest of the autistic Pickle Rick idiots became aware of it. The internet ruins everything, it was pretty good while it lasted, oh well.

IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW, the fourth dimensional testicle monsters do look like langoliers! exempt langoliers have razor sharp teeth that can cut through almost everything, and they eat the past

in the silhouette segment, did anyone else notice big bird and snuffeluppegus ( forgive my spelling ) on the left side under the space invader (bottom left, and middle left respectively)

I don't usually comment on videos like this, due to the fact that they're entertaining and informative, but, brains behind Community? Rick and Morty? Yes. Community? Meh.
