8 Worst TV Shows Of 2017 Josh: I loved Emerald City! The characters, visuals, costumes & actors were all great and the new take on it, was so fresh, interesting & original. I really liked East, she was very powerful, evil, dominating, harsh ect and I loved the new look they gave the character. I also loved Lady Ev and all her masks. Series 2, 3+ would have been so interesting. It's sad we'll never find out what happens to the characters. It sometimes seemed a bit cheesy, didn't always have the best acting / actors & sometimes seemed like a cheap production, or maybe slow paced, but overall, it was brilliant. I'm so glad Iron Fist is on this list. Thank you. I had to sit through that dull, generic, poorly acted, snore fest all the time when I was seeing someone who loved it, recently. Glad I don't have to sit through it anymore. I c r i n g e at the thought.

I enjoyed iron fist very much but can see why others didnt. The problem was that the first season of daredevil, particularly the first episode, set the bar really high. You have to understand that Luke cage and iron fist is a different brand than daredevil and Jessica jones in the since of how it should be portrayed. The season showed that Danny hadnt actually grown out of his pretentious kid self. Everything he did was selfish, even though he didnt think so. I think with time he will realize this and change in some way. Especially after what he went through with the defenders.

Marvels' Inhumans: I couldn't even get through watching the whole of the first episode of that one. It was so bad I had to turn it off like 20-30mins into the two hour premiere.
Emerald City: Like many others here in the comments, I really liked that show. I will say that I didn't much care for Dorthy's character arc, she was ok. But It was all the other characters and the world itself in the show that were the real draw in it: . It did have it's flaws and odd choices for storylines for some of the characters, but overall it was a really enjoyable show while it lasted.

Yes, Iron Fist seemed like a too-long introduction of Danny Rand/Iron Fist just so there would be four Defenders but Jessica Jones remains the most unwatchable Marvel-Netflix show. Needlessly vulgar in every way I have not been able to watch more than the first three episodes. On the up side Rand/Iron Fist did much better as part of The Defenders so perhaps the team-up will work as well.

Iron Fist wasn't inessential, watch The Defenders and tell me how the entire plot of the whole series would of made any sense without Iron Fist. All 4 of The Defenders solo series were essential to drive the narrative of the collective cross over story just as Antman, Doctor Strange, Spiderman and the rest of MCU films drive the Infinity War storyline.

Emerald City was really fun. I loved the new spin on it and the breakdown of power struggles in Oz. It has potential, it just hadn't found its footing. Had they given it a chance, S2 would've rocked. I hope ot gets picked up by Netflix or Hulu or whatever. Because I have to know what's gonna happen with princess Ozma as queen of the witches and shit.

Training Day started very badly, pilot was hilariously bad, but the show get better with every episode thx to that black guy who turned out to be smart and niuanced character. For me biggest disapointment was American Gods. IT was visual extravaganza but with extremely slow pace and enigmatic plot points with weak results.

The Orville. PEEUU! What a gigantic middle finger to FG and AD fans! It exploits the notion that fans of Seth's work, will watch anything he does. The truth is that live action is far less expensive to produce than animation. FG is going bye bye and The Horrible, will be crammed down your throat for a couple more seasons. .boooo.

Iron Fist and Inhumans were fine, despite all the internet hate.
When something actually isn't very good it tends not to get a lot of attention, like most of those earlier entries in the list. In the cases of those last two there's something else going on with the backlash, as they really do not live down to the bad rep.

Another problem with APB is that it aired on CBS and their target audience is baby boomers, they have the highest number of baby boomer viewers than any other network, and baby boomers have no idea about new technology and dont want to watch a show about high-tech crime fighting, they can barely figure out their iphones.
