However, how mis-lead was I. its not often I come out of the box office and actually had to get dragged to the car by my girlfriend after speaking to random about it being close to not just the worst Star Wars film yet - but up there with the worst films Ive ever sat through. Defo a top 10 in most terrible directing.
The cast were just awful, screenplay seemed penned by film student - or school kid on his lunch hour, the story itself would have been okay had it not been so far removed from the usual SWU we all know and love - I mean its in the same timeframe as the original trilogy - okay, about 20 years before Episode IV but still, it seems like its set in whole different galaxy and a thousand years before the first film.
Theres just so much wrong with it, ?I advise people to go see it, just so they can see that nope, nobody is exaggerating how shit it is.
Terrible, boring, slow, action sequences are relying entirely on how cool they look, they seem to just not bother with dialogue during them.
As foe Han Solo - its honestly like they had a contest at last years Comic-Con to see who could portray Han the worst - then picked the winner, gave him the job and filmed all his acting parts before hed even gone home at the end of the day.
Yep its shit. Rotten Tomatoes had it at 9% the last time I checked - wow, for a Star Wars film, I think we can be sure of one good thing - that director will never be involved in Star Wars again (possibly not even Hollywood again either)
Anyway with that being said, you might be one of the 20 people who thought it was okay. Sorry, 10 people - I thought 20 seemed too high.

I really liked Cargo! It was pretty sad, but had a wonderful ending: ) on the topic of Netflix, if you don't mind foreign films, but want something. different, pleasseee watch Raw! It's sick, but my honestly my favourite movie! Just throwing that out there: ) have a good one!

Solo needs Harrison Ford, I'm sorry but all I'd rather a digital Harrison Ford than some dude who needs acting lessons. i mean tron did it. people need continuity. George Lucas dropped the ball on this decision. mean Han Solo is Harrison FORD, no one else!

I might go see Deadpool. If I am really board and someone gives me a free ticket, I might allow myself to be dragged to see Solo A Star Wars Story. But as far as the rest, they will show up on Netflix or Amazon prime eventually.

Ocean's Eight and Night School look dumb to me but most of the rest look good. Some look REALLY good! But I have to be honest here, the most anticipated movie of the year for me is Incredibles 2!

People are afraid of Solo since Disney basically did the impossible. Ruin Star Wars for it's actual fans of 40 years. The last jedi was a dumpster fire and the others are meh.
