there MUCH BIGGER reasons like:
1. they cant even say Aang's name properly.
2. Sokka isnt funny. in fact the entire movie as far as i got in was so bland and non comedic. it was as if not a single person, any of the actors crew or production had don't anything but read some notes about the show taken by a guy who watch his friend describe what he read about the show on cliffnotes. like its literally that bad.

Ummm I see a lot of complaining in this list about white actors who were cast to play roles of a different race and I agree thats annoying and shouldnt happen but why was Michael B Jordans casting as Johnny Storm AKA human torch mentioned because I know as a marvel comic fan thats one of the main reasons I didnt go see FF reboot and havent seen it since its release, kind of annoying thats it wrong for one side but not mentioned when its the other way around and let me just say I love MBJ as an actor and think everything hes done from Wallace in the wire to creed has been amazing but he should never have been cast as Johnny storm because he isnt white

The only people who can play the Joker and really do it right, are the ones who are realistically on the edge of being a psychopath themselves.
Michael Keaton IS the ONLY Batman. PERIOD! Although Ben Affleck did a good job of the more violent adaptation of him. but wasn't a fan of the voice or all that armor.
Stockard Channing as Elizabeth Taylor? OMFG! I HAVE TO SEE THAT!
I like Keanu. He tries hard to be perfect at everything he does. He wasn't the best pick for the role, but he did a very good job.
Yeah, I busted a gut laughing so hard at Topher Grace trying to play a villain! ROFL!

the reason why people make a big deal about white actors playing characters who aren't white is because there aren't many non white characters in movies/tv/anything really. i don't get why people have to keep mentioning it. poc haven't been represented enough and then when there's an opportunity it goes to a white person so it's pretty easy to understand why people get upset about it. there's a plethora of white characters and we're represented extremely well, and have been for a long time, so changing a white character to a poc onscreen isn't a big deal

Renee Zellweger as Beatrix Potter in the film Miss Potter. Its a though someone thought Who do we know that can play a single, unmarried thirtysomething, a situation of which her mother disapproves? She wasnt so bad in Brigit Joness Diary, but was exactly the same in Miss Potter. It was basically Beatrix Potters Diary. Ewan McGregor did a good job though.
Oh, and Richard Gere as Lancelot in First Knight. He did a fairly good job, but wasnt right for the part.

As Asian, I'm puzzled why so many casting problem fuzzes were about not casting Asians. TBH I don't really care if the actor is white or Asian, as long as the acting is good, and in fact I was pissed at a lot of token Asian casting/character because either they were unnecessary or their acting was shit. The only exception is if the character flat out has Asian name or being Asian is a key part of their role in the story.

EVERYONE should know that M. Night Shitty is a racist! It was evident in his earliest movies when he would not cast any people of color in roles except as bad people. As a person of color, he should be a shame of himself! Some of his movies had no people of color at all. I know Indian people have color issues, but this is an extreme case of self hatred! I am very happy that his movies bombed royally.

Granted hes a Korean American now you're just complaining to complain. Like seriously are you going to be this upset when I hire someone whose American to cast a British dude? Or someone whose French american to play a German American? I understand white washing is a thing but complaining that the guy isnt the same ethnicity (however is the same race) is just complaining to complain

A lot of these I agree with, especially the ones that concern actors playing already well-known characters (which is most of them. But with Gyllenhaal? That performance was less disastrous casting and more directing of the actor that the creator of this video didn't like. And with Leto? Production hell. Poor directing. The filmmakers' disinclination to reign him in.

sucks cuz George Clooney got in there at the wrong time like the last one was the worst of he was in there for the first 2 or 3 he could have been the Batman the whole way thru but he was to big of a star at that time they didn't want to waste the money trying to get him and prob didn't think he would want too but he looked like Batman and Bruce and he could act
