Terminator: Dark Fate Photos Reveal The New Terminator
video description
T2 is my favorite for certrain reasons (heavy nostalgia. T1 I appreciate as a Horror movie and like it almost as much as T2. T3 I saw in the theaters as well as Terminator: Salvation and felt about the same for both. However I hope that Terminator: Dark Fate brings back the R-RATING.
Considering Tim Miller is the Director and he directed Deadpool which was a huge success for an R-Rating. Plus James Cameron is on board, so I hope they bring back that grittiness the originals had. Also I saw T2: Judgement Day 3D when they brought that to theaters. I saw it twice because for once the 3D conversion was actually done right (James Cameron was involved.

Logically speaking, if the Dark Fate is a direct continuation of the T2 and according to the Miller that Hamilton is vital character for the actual Dark Fate, it involves that also Furlong character must be also in it. Ironically it implies that even Schwarzenegger character is not necessary needed (T800 was melted, remember); yes, old star characters (Schwarzenegger, Patrick, Biehn) can be back again but this means another loops in time (and also it was in previous T5, T4 stories. In conclusion, an official and genuine continuation of T2 must be with the real Hamilton and Furlong also, and the rest of the crew will be the next comic heroes for the T7, T8, etc.

i just saw a more recent vid saying that this movie has been scrapped due to the failing of genisys but maybe they are wrong. either way there shouldve never been anymore sequels after judgement day cuz anyone who remembers the special edition probably saw the scene where sarah is sitting at that same playground from her vision but its in the future and she is a grandmother watching as john is playing with his kid, while saying she remembers the way things were supposed to have turned out but everything was all right since the world wasnt decimated

Honestly, I'd love to see a Terminator where Arnold is not the machine, but rather the soldier that was used to for emmulation of The Terminators (whether Arnold is still good or bad remains to be seen. Human Arnold can either be the Skynet mastermind that wants to be preserved through the ages throigh the machines or a horrified soldier pf war that wants to stop this mechanical monstrosity.

After T2 the franchise has been destroyed beyond recognition.
Even though I think with Cameron involved and Tim Miller as a director we can hope for a good terminator movie after almost 3 decades, I fear that the constant mockery of the franchise (that the last 3 movies were imho) will lead to people having little interest in it.

The film wasn't great, but I loved Christian Bale as John Connor.
Jason Clarke Sucked though. But it could also be interesting to see Michael David Edward return to the role (though he retired in the 90's. But yeah, I'd love to see Bale return to the role as the main character alongside Schwarzenegger.

So now, we have a fifth Terminator timeline.
We had:
1. Terminator, T2 and the alternate T2 ending
2. Terminator, T2, Terminator 3, Salvation
3. Terminator, T2, Sarah Connor Chronicles
4. Terminator, Genisys.
5. Terminator, T2, Dark Fate

I always thought it would be cool to cast Arne as the original human that the T800 was based on. Not only would it of been a refreshing and different approach, it would of also been a better way to explained how he aged in this new franchisee.
