Every Joker ever put on film is the same, yet so different. Each actor brings his own take of the character. I love that! This movie will stand on it's own just like all of the Joker movies did in the past. Well, also, because it's different. We've never had a character study of Joker before showing so much of his human side. Imagine if they did another movie with Harleen Quinzell in this character study style and then put the two together for a third film of the Joaquin's Joker and Harley Quinn together. OMG! Idk who would play her though. Joaquin Phoenix is PERFECT.

This movie is a combination of Mean Streets, King of Comedy, One Flew Over a Cuckoo's Nest, tease of Bruce Wayne as Arthur Fleck is teach Bruce how to smile and Taxi Driver. The 1970's backdrop really fits the storyline really well. Also Brian Tyree from Into the Spider-Verse plays one of the employees at the Arkham State Hospital. Also it borrows elements from the Killing Joke.

Great trailer and l will watch the movie l have seen the others to and everytime the villain makes a wonderful incredible performance and in this new one l can't see that it will stop Joaquin Phoenix is a wonderful actor. l look forward alot to watch this movie to. a feminist journalist says that we should all boycott this movie, because it is just a further glorification of toxic masculinity and incel culture. She said if we actually pay money to watch this movie then we are part of the problem and need to be re-educated to learn how to think and behave properly.

It really is a fantastic trailer for, what looks like a really interesting film.
My main concern: The final shot of the trailer with Joker and that slight smile might be the last scene of the whole film.
Basically, I worry we'll see the descent into Joker but never the result.

Nice coincidence with the name Jerome. But it's actually the street it was filmed on. I live one block away from 170th Jerome Ave in the Bronx. By law they can't change the names in city streets for filming. The stairs in the trailer are located on 167th Highbridge in the bronx

Got a bad feeling about this movie. Too much backstory like that one hulk movie when he didn't smash anything in the first hour. Or the reboot of superman where he does like one super thing in the whole movie. Honestly I like the show Gotham's version of the Joker.
