Bear Grylls Stunts That Were Totally Fake GamesPS: It should be known that not everything you see in a show is just how it is, there must be behind-the-scenes for the shows like this.
Anyways, he did a lots of crazy stuff and showed many useful tips. Man vs. Wild was never really about the man trying to survive in the wild show, but showing the possible things you could do or try to do if you get in trouble, whether you fall into the cold water, quicksand, (etc, which can be helpful even if you're not surviving in some random place in the wild, but having trouble in paradise while being in expedition or else. Also the show helps you learn how to make a raft, shelter, hunting weapon, traps or know some tactics in hunting. Survival guides.
That's all very real and important, and some of the things is for entertainment. The show contains mixture of serious stuff and entertainment. Bear being in an Uncharted game, just running in the jungle and climbing, and on the other hand, teaching the viewers about survival, showing some valuable things. That's why it's fun to watch it.

Man vs wild was literally just an entertainment show and that's all it was intended for, there was no danger involved and most things he done was for shock value and entertainment purposes only. Everything he came across and done was far too coincidental at that moment in time, like the perfect animal or supplies needed would just turn up when needed. I've done my fair share of wilderness exploring and living off the land and I can tell you that you don't always decide to bring a flint, a backpack and other necessary supplies with you if you are to test yourself in a situation where you got stranded or lost. you will most likely have nothing with you that would serve as important if you are trying to stay alive in the wild. I don't leave my home everyday with certain supplies that would help me stay alive if I just somehow got lost or stranded after a car broke down in the middle of nowhere or I survived a plane crash in the middle of a rain forest.

its weird how bear is the only one of these survivalist willing to eat bugs and animal shit while being called a fraud yet all the stuff bear does would of been unbelievable in the same situations people need to survive in when lost, he is trying to simulate those situations where people who are lost do some crazy stuff that seems fake but is actually real, for him he obviously had help in season 1 so he could learn and none of the previous seasons have ever been exposed beyond him eating caterpillars that he didnt cook properly so he needed to eat some of the crew food to get strength back for the climb, season 1 was a learning experience for him and all the critics arent in the hotels with him strangely enough after they walked for a week in a desert

arguing about the authenticity of the 2 shows. they're 2 shows (that's should give you some hint right away) they have different goals/limits/budgets/crews/ etc. some episodes in each are more similar then others. But I don't think BG ever actually claims to do everything on his own with no assistance. neither does les stroud with survivor-man, his crew has setup stuff for him many times. and the water in dung line, I don't really know African wildlife but i have seen/shoveled etc. plenty of horse, cow, and and other animals crap, and it 'can' be quite watery. Would I ever think to try it for a water source. I don't think so. there are pretty much always better options.

Seriously? so what it was fake? His show is not about how Bear Grylls should survive in the wild but rather give us lessons on how to survive if anyone of us had to face a situation in the wild. if anyone believed Man vs Wild was supposed to be a real life show! you're an idiot! Learn what you think will actually help you and if not no one cares as long as Grylls is helping all the people around the world! Give him credits for what he does rather then try to proof he is fake. I wonder if the haters and people who is trying to proof him fake could even do a single stunt like him. ROFL.

Err. the horses, okay thats fine. I doubt theyd want to lasso actually wild horses.
As to a lot of the rest. Its him and his camera man. Both are ex-SAS. So carrying smoke machines and all that other stuff around?
In some of the celebrity ones he pre-prepares challenges like rope bridges & descents But they have to for insurance on the celebrity.
You should watch some of his other stuff.
Besides, this show is about what to do if you find yourself in that kind of situation. If you do, you wont be filming yourself will you

Baffles me how people find this shocking or bad. Obviously half of the shit is staged and he got every possible chance of getting out of any scenario. His camera men does have rations with them and both the crew and Bear got everything they need. Bear might push himself at times though. And no he isn't taking unnecessary risks. Show is about survival and how to stay alive, it's not a near death wish by making these episodes, it's supposed to be educational.

It is a TV show. Anyone can logically imagine that you cannot put a persons life in actual danger on public television. Honestly, all these reality shows are just for entertainment. If people want the real deal then they need to go do the time and train for it. If you enjoy the show, watch it and enjoy it. If you are jealous and miserable then quit your job and prove you are better and film with your own camera, no crew, no assistance - you get the idea. ..

I always felt like Man Vs Wild was more of a simulation. Not actually survival, like how survivor man was. Bear was there to entertain you and show you possible scenarios and solutions to problems and then showing us in example of how he would go about it if he was surviving. Different from Survivor Man in the way that Les Stroud is doing his examples of what to do it certain scenarios but actually trying to take you through it the most real way possible.

I learned many many people have terrible taste in entertainment. They keep going, who cares if it's fake it's entertaining. For me the only way it would be entertaining is if it were actually real. THATS the entertainment. The real gritty reality of a man ACTUALLY doing these things. It's fascinating how easily moved people are with fake shit. Such simple minds that eat up everything TV throws at them.
