Small Stranger Things 3 Trailer Details Only True Fans Noticed

The last shot of season two is the Mind Flayer in the upside down, looking over hawkins middle school. The gate has been closed, and the Mind Flayer is in the upside down so it's stuck there. RIGHT? bUT, apparently now they trapped the mind flayer outside of the upside down and in their world? there could be an alternate portal but there's none that we know of (and then the mind flayer wouldn't be trapped anyways. This has just been bothering me since the trailer came out.

My father noticed something.
Why did the monsters only eat Bob when there was plenty other dead/injured people in the same building who could have been their meal?
It's obvious that the Duffer Brothers wanted this scene to scare people but it is not logical.
If they ate Bob, we can suppose that they ate all the others but if my memories are correct we see the bodies of the people working there in an episode

Predictions: More 80's pop culture references (both obvious, and hidden in the backgrounds, a whole lot of jaws dropping over how much the kids have grown since we last saw them, some monsters that would make Silent Hill feel like a safe haven, a cliffhanger at the end of the season that tops the one from Season 2, and a great soundtrack.
Also, the selling prices of those Q-Bert wristwatches going way up.

The part that they got out of will from the mind flayer was still in Hawkins and what if when 11 closed the gate he locked them there with them in the final trailer we find out billy is the new host so he also see him walking weirdly in the same place we saw the monster max looks worried because of billy or maybe her mother in the upside down or billy turning into the monster

I think the mall will be built on the lab and then the men shooting the ray will be opining the upside down to investigate and then the mind flayer will get out and then thats how the lights go off and will feels the cold he will probably be in the lab/mall

What doesnt make sense to me is the fact that they think the mind fleyer is locked in their dimension. Even though at the end of the last episode of season 2, we see the mind fleyer looking over Hawkins middle school, in you guessed it. Drum roll please. the upside down.

In season 2 there is a antenna thing in the upside down threw the camera in the Hawkins lab. It is hard to spot. And in the trailer for season 3 mike max Dustin and Lucas are putting the same thing up. Maybe it is so they can connect to the upside down.

Bruh I have watched stranger things 3 but before I did I watched this trailer and the scientists are obviously Russian. Those gas masks and suits are iconic Russian nuclear and radioactive protection gear.
