If it was because of just violence alone that makes people go crazy then how do you explain Charles Manson thinking the Beatles which their music if you listen to our actually not violent at all and how do you explain this on the news once I actually heard of a case of a crazy person dressing up as Santa Claus jumping down a chimney with a flamethrower in Killing In The Family I guess movies like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in things about Santa Claus are bad movies because it inspired somebody how do I agree that certain individuals are more violent than others because of mental reasons and don't need to be watching us movies yes but it should be their choice to take their condition serious and not surround themselves with not a movie theater not anyone else this is the ultimate case of let's find something to blame than to take our own personal responsibilities into account

Of course movies 'inspire'. that's all you people talk about, how you were inspired to do this, become that, learn fkn sign language, because of some dumb movie. Anyone who says that watching on screen violence does not desensitize you to 'Violence' as a whole is clearly a moron. Our world situation - the eco-existential crisis that is at the root of it - is a product of this propagandic violence mostly meted out through the crude carousels of TV and cinema. But of course it takes a brain with more than a few synapses firing in order to work that out. Go figure! (And Bravo! Robbie Collin, only a Scot it seems has the balls to ask some real questions during an interview. Next time, ask him how much he got paid and for how many days work, and then ask him if he knows how much your ordinary working joe is paid. and then see how fast the toys get thrown out the pram.

just watched it. it made me think about how in society we don't care about the down trodden and mentally ill until it bites us back. And laughing at someone, or as the song lyrics say ''Some people get their kicks/ Stompin' on a dream'' and making fun of someone can just tip them over the edge if they have had a bad day or week. the movie showed me that Arthur had a terrible childhood, he just wanted people to be kind. but how do you help someone who feels more powerful pulling a trigger?

Also, he's a fictional character in a fictional movie. If someone cannot differentiate fiction from reality or is inspired by this to commit violence, THEY'RE the ones with problems. not the movie itself. they are the ones who need to be locked in a psychiatric ward.

F the critics. All they do is trying to mask bleeding scars with make-up. Joker is scary not because he's similar to the most violent murderers. No ma'am/sir! He is scary, and really so, because he is similar to us, the working class. And for the Wayne Corp lobbyists out there - no sir, I am a well-paid math PhD working in the AI branch, and I still feel way more compassion to the Joker than to your pseudo-liberal agenda.

The movie tells people to stop being a bully. It tells them to show empathy. It also brought people together, connecting. It helps them with the depression. People are dancing and doing make up. NO vilolence at all. Everyone who thinks the movie is about vilolence has not seen it or did not understand.

On another hand, this can also be an eye opener for those people who are living about the same context as the Jocker, in order to keep control and pursue other manners rather than go down the violent drain as the Jocker did. A glass is either half empty or half full.

I find this movie more as a lesson for SOCIETY to never criticize or belittling miserable people like Arthur Fleck or else it could lead to a great calamity for both sides.
People like Fleck should be treated fairly regardless of their disabilities.

To be honest it was a dumb question. you wouldn't ask this about any other violent movie. Did anyone ask this to those who were apart of Halloween 2018? What about all the other horror movies with slashers in them? No, you don't.
