First Solo Reactions Dub Alden Ehrenreich 'The Real Deal' Isaiah: Almost nobody here is the voice of reason, and anybody who's willing to dismiss something on the grounds of half-truths, rumors, hunches, and predispositions before having even viewed the product isn't to be trusted. And, anybody who doesn't agree and/or comply with that fact, clenching onto what little semblance of dominance and free-will they have, is even moreso unreliable and delusional. Such is the primal nature of the Star Wars fanbase.
Yes, you know who you are, those of you who relish in spiteful victory and cower from moral responsibility, who regularly confuse complaining with constructive criticism, which are two very different things. You, the loud and obnoxious minority, meandering aimlessly from subject to subject, sensation to sensation, spectacle to spectacle. I want you to know something, I want you to know that your staunchly stubborn proclivity for nihlism is poison, and as you laugh in the face of maturity and neglect to acknowledge your absurdity under the foolish notion that you've attained some heightened degree of thought, all of us reasonable human beings will look down upon your misguided ramblings and extend our pity. We will sincerely hope out of genuine, altruistic concern that your grievances be quelled and your conscience cleared of all disingenuity and scorn.
But, if you in your rigid prison of a mind begin to feel a sense of entitlement to one's opinions or freedom of speech, or begin to reject to truth laid bare before your fractured understanding of the world, then at least take away one thing from all of this; nobody will wait for you, and nobody will listen, so long as you willingly adopt this self-proclaimed attitude of unrequited rightful and reasonable behavior, and Star Wars needs less of people like you who will only offer complaints in place of constructive criticism, which only stunts development and growth further, two concepts none of you have a substantial grasp on to begin with, otherwise you wouldn't be here. When you stop lying to yourself, then everyone will stop being wrong about everything, and, consequently, you'll stop being right.
It's your choice. If you think my claims are nothing more than a stroke of arrogance rather than logic, than there's simply no hope for you, none here at least. But, for those of you who are willing to engage in a real conversation, not the so defensive debating skills that so many flaunt proudly nowadays, then I'm all ears. This isn't a provokation, unless you make it one for yourself. This is an invitation for those who are imperfect, flawed, and who have the emotional breadth to recognize it.

The real deal? That's a bit much. What made Han Solo special is very unique. This is why making a Han Solo movie was very dangerous. This wouldn't be so bad if TLJ didn't split the fan base. Let me explain. Harrison Ford didn't care much for the Han Solo character. It shows on film. The famous I know. was not on the script. I don't know what was going on at the time. Maybe he needed more money to pay the light bill. So he took the part. An awesome actor, add a film that was lighting in a bottle, sprinkle a little bit of luck and add awesome toys. There you have it. 40 plus years of fandom. Star Wars lasted because it was like a religion. Have you tried talking to religious people and use scientific facts to counter the stories? It gets ugly right? That's what the Last Jedi did. It changed Luke Skywalker and who he is. So saying Solo is the real deal. Real deal compared to what? All the articles I have read states they are trying their best to get this Solo character right. You will need to get an actor who is awesome but does not care much for this part. That is how you will get close to what Harrison Ford did with Solo. Harrison's smirk and sarcastic glance is all natural caught on film. The real deal? Now I have a bad feeling about this movie. Just give us your honest opinion. Don't sound like an advertisement. True critics used to keep movie writers in check. I just want a good Star Wars film.

Already the antifan boys are telling the real fans they aren't going to see SOLO. They continue to sit and whine and spew hate toward producers, directors and whomever else will pay attention to them.
Once again they must be reminded:
Shut up and stay home. No one cares. SOLO will be big, glorious, and fun.
Yes fun. You whiney babies have forgot about fun. And joy. And the whole point about Star Wars.
It's not real life. It's a movie. And it's fun. Entertaining and all.
So stay home. Rant on You Tube. Cry. Change your diapers and have mommy tuck you in.
The rest of us. the real fans will be busy with life, and save a few hours of our time for SOLO.

This movie might be good but I dont care. The main reason I wont be watching is because of miscasting. The actor might be good, I dont know. Maybe. But the fact is that he looks and sounds nothing like Harrison Ford and Ill judge the movie only by that. It cant be a prequel without accuracy and episode 1 2 and 3 are good examples on why they failed. Again it might be very good. It may be the best goddamn movie in all of cinema. But I dont really care. Him not looking like Harrison Ford is enough reason for me not to watch the movie

Not really a Star Wars follower, but i'm glad that Ehrenreich and the film receive warm reviews.
The whole production drama, director change, and rumors on Disney hired acting coach because they weren't impressed with Ehrenreich's acting performance made me feel so bad for him and the whole cast & crew.
Han Solo & Harrison Ford is a really big shoes to fill. Glad it's work out fine. I'm definitely going to see it.

Critics are too afraid to criticize a Disney movie, as we saw with the last jedi. I think the telling part of these early reviews is that the han actor didn't seem very good as it seems he was upstaged by the supporting cast which is not a good sign for a movie titled after him. It sounds like he had a very weak and timid performance that was overshadowed by everyone else.

So, people that the studio allow to see it early like it? I'll pass. I'll wait until real fans get to see it. Studios are far more clever these days and allow studio friendly people to see it early. Now, it could genuinely be a good film, but I'll wait until it opens wide to see real fan reaction.

Ha Ha Ha. we all know Alden Ehrenreich stunk so bad they had to get acting coaches for him. Add in they skipped over the dude who was Harrison Ford's clone and these rave reviews smell more like Disney pay offs. Solo will be rancid shit. And Disney will spend tens of millions hyping it.

Like we can trust the critics that get given tickets by Lucasfilm for the 2 week early showing.
After the way critics presented TLJ I won't trust any review until at least a week after the official release and maybe not even then.

I wasn't going to mention the error that Lord and Miller weren't fired since you got it from some online article until I saw it was your article!
They were fired as directors, but they are still listed as executive producers.
