I dont think it deserves a sequel, sure Tim could create a great story and Henry would direct, but if someone else had written the sequel then it wouldnt be able to surpass the original, exploring one of the other doors would seem like a good story, not trying to make it like Halloween themed for that specific holiday. Maybe like exploring them, meeting other holidays, but the video game Oogies Revenge kinda feels like a sequel already. Its certainly possible that a sequel could happen but in my opinion it doesnt deserve a sequel

I really wish Disney would stop making sequels and remakes because those will not be remembered like the original is going to be. For example the Lion King remake was horrible and definitely will be forgotten and same with the beauty and the beast remake. I wish Tim Burton would make more stop motion films like Nightmare before Christmas and Corpse bride which are my all time favorite animated films. If he made a brand new stop motion film I bet a lot of people would go see it and it might be a new classic.

Not wanted nor needed. It's self contained. Tim Burton doesn't like making movies with the intent to make overblown franchises out of them. He prefers standalone, self contained and concise stories. Batman Returns and the sequels to it were things he was contractually obligated to direct and later produce. The same goes for Alice Through Looking Glass. He's the furthest thing from Jim Cameron. Now there's a director obsessed with huge scope, movies long as theatrical plays, and sequels.

Maybe if they did a second nightmare before Christmas it would be Oogies revenge like the game to be honest but what if Lock, Shock and Barrel get revenge on Jack and the citizens of Halloween Town. Plus I would love to see Oogie and three trick or treaters relationship.

You can shut your mouth! WE DON'T NEED A LIVE ACTION REMAKE OF TNBC. With you saying you'd want to see it. No, absolutely not! Disney didn't even originally want it part of it's brand, and only welcomed it back after it made a ton of money. So SHUT IT!

Im sick of people thinking we need a sequel or live action remake to every classic animated film, plus what would a sequel even be about? theres literally nothing to fix or add to this movie its already perfect.

The reason why we never get to see is because Burton NEVER does sequels. He only did one which was Batman Returns. He didn't work in Alice In Wonderland Through The Looking Glass
