2019s Biggest Box Office Bombs Nikki: As soon as I saw that Kristen Stewart was in Charlie's Angels I said Nope. Along with a whole bunch of other people. As for Dark Phoenix. Fox already made a HUGE mess with the X-Men franchise. too many different competing story lines. As soon as you saw one movie the previous entry in the franchise was thrown out the window, then it was brought back and your told the the last movie didn't have as big of an impact as you thought it should have.

Many of these films fail even before release bc of its bad advertising, pandering to SJWs instead of presenting an interesting movie with a promising plot, like terminator, charlie's angels and dark phoenix.
I really enjoyed shaft. I wish more movies like those were made, maybe in a more lenient way so it doesn't entice the rage of critics or scare the audience away. I dismissed it at first, but after watching it I loved it.

almost every single one of these movies failed for 1-2 reasons - 1 - poorly written scripts using nostalgia for a previously successful movie (lazy hack writing, 2 - using #1 and wrapping it in a heavy political agenda. Poor writing, needless political preaching, and lack of new ideas and concepts.

IMHO, the biggest problem with movies today is that the expectation to make money, as opposed to make a good movie, is the motivating factor. Sure, the business is to make money, but you have to consider your customers. No one wants to pay for bad service, or pay for something they don't want.

Hollywood is releasing TOO MANY CHICK FLICKS all at once. Hollywood is also transforming franchise films like The Terminator into CHICK FLICKS. as they did with Terminator Dark Fate. cut it out Hollywood or else. we the fans will just KEEP OUR MONEY!

I actually enjoyed Missing Link BUT it definitely had more allure for the 20s to 30s age bracket in terms of dialogue and comedy. My nieces and nephew unfortunately found it boring and didn't want to continue watching. It is a nice movie though.

UMM I loved Charlies Angels, the movies on the other hand have all been flops in my opinion, it has nothing to do with 'guys who dont like female leads', that is utter garbage, Star Trek Voyager was awesome and guess what it had a Female lead!

Critics must have been praising the concept of Booksmart and possibly did not see it. Endless rapid-fire talking that can barely be heard may have seemed to the director like real life - but makes you want to turn it off after 5 minutes.

I feel Maleficent 2 failed at the box office. I literally seen so many people having hopes for it to pass 1 Billion after the first one made 758 Million. But only ended up making 491 Million. That's a huge loss I would say.

If X-Men has taught me anything, it's don't adapt Dark Phoenix into a movie. They've had two tries and they're both considered the worst in the franchise. Even if it's remembered as one of the cartoon's best arcs. Pattern?
