Apart from that its just poorly written and acted. MacGregor is laughable as the central bad guy. and the other other beefy bad guy enforcers are a bunch of incompetent whimps. And don't get me started on the ridiculous portrayal of Gotham City cops. as if and what a load of toss. It's funny how a film that wants to be gritty and real ends up being so unreal and unbelievable.
Massive FAIL: 1/5. One star for Margot Robbie.

It might not be a perfect movie and it did have a few things that made me go 'really'? (like Canary suddenly having super powers. )
But it wasn't as eye rolling bad as Captain Marvel and Suicide Squad.
It's not trying to be 'Joker' either.
The music made sense, the fight scenes were interesting (and definitely fit Harley.
I liked it.
tl; dr;
it is a stupendously dumb action flick and it definitely knows it is one.
oh. and stop looking for all sorts of hidden meanings and messages.

Didn't care too much about psychedelic nature of it all along with all the flashbacks to the point certain scenes were shown twice. That wasn't too surprising since that was the vibe in the trailers but it was just too much. It was funny in some parts but overall it was nothing special especially in comparison to these glowing critic reviews. One bright spot was Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress. Would like to see more of her in future movies or even her own movie.

MY OWN RATING FOR THE MOVIE (HARLEY QUINN AND THE BIG OF PREY) SINCE I HAVE SEEN IT:
Now if it were possible to give a higher amount of stars like six stars, or maybe a few more then I would, and yet I will go by the usual rating system; An so I am giving the movie (HARLEY QUINN AND THE BIRDS OF PREY) the rating of 5 stars plus half a star, and the reason why I rated it that is because I thought it was a fantastically great movie to have seen.

Rotten tomatoes is firmly under studios' control. 89% is the kind of rating once reserved to movies like Goodfellas or Silence of the Lambs, and to filmmakers like Bergman and Fellini.
This movie would have have been in a 25% 30% range hadn't the studios put so much money in it. The whole thing is a complete travesty. Do yourself a favour and use your brains if you still have got any left.

This movie was was way better than Suicide Squad, and the trailers do not do this movie justice at all. Call it bad marketing, but this movie in regards to tone and entertainment was on par to that of a Deadpool film. And this movie proved that Female superheroes can be entertaining, its just Marvel sucks at doing them.

I saw the movie last night and thought it was absolutely amazing it was very unexpected and surprising one of my favorite movies of all time Ive been waiting for this to come out for the longest time and now that its here Im glad it was made

Metacritic puts its at 61%. I was say that was a more accurate scoring it deserves to be above 50% just for the fight scenes but not higher because there is little else holding it together.
