Fred Ward is awesome in Tremors. Cynthia Rothrock has gone, but Hollywood has replaced her with thousands of new female action stars. Nearly all modern action movies feature a female lead. Modern Hollywood hates male action heroes, specially white ones. Thats why i prefer 80's action movies.

They wont cast them because martial arts movies are terrible its the only genre that Jackie chan and every other martial artist can act in because their acting is so bad it was only done correctly in the karate kid quadtrilogy, cobra Kai and the original 90s power rangers tv show

Fred Ward should not be in this category he is a well established actor films like Uncommon Valore Southern Comfort the Right Stuff, the list goes on, the rest of the people on this list are not actors they just know martial arts and were put on screen to make a fast buck.

I must admit I am very disappointed with this list! There were sooooo many action stars that were bigger than the people on this list (except for Cynthia) that you could have covered. This deserves a part two and more diversity with the talent chosen

Well Cynthia probably getting a bit old to do marshall arts now, so I understand why she wouldn't be in a lot of movies now. Even Vandamn is in a lot of cheap movies now.

I grew up on American Ninja. My brother and I would regularly pose with our plastic ninja weapons like Dudikoff and and Bradley on the cover of AN4, annoying our mom!

To reduce Fred Ward's career to 2 or 3 films is just wrong. The Right Stuff, Tremors I and II, Henry and June (starring role, etc. He was still active in 2015.

Remo Williams was great! went to the flix twice to see it. Rothrock IS and will always be a 'Love Quest' of. well most kids of the 80's.
