I'm not familiar with the comic but just watched the show and can't express how much I hated the character Luther. Episode 9's ending really put me off, only watched episode 10 just to see how the show ends. Luther was the number 1 but he was such a bad leader and a terrible brother. Imo he was the worst sibling followed by five.

The moon destruction scene is simultaneously awesome and also completely ridiculous.
That's not how gravity works. The moon is already falling into Earth; it's just so far away that it's in orbit.
So if it's destroyed, then the fragments will just stay in the same orbit.
