Tony Shalhoub s take on, He looked alright to me. will never be delivered better.
Alan Rickman was a delight as a Manically Depressed Robot. I still can t forgive Snape because of his performance.
Sam Rockwell: best Zaphod Beeblebrox to date, and my favourite character actor.

If you liked Mars Attacks, Men in Black, and Galaxy Quest, you'll probably like a little known gem not on this list, 1990's Spaced Invaders. If you're a reader and would like to see the _real_ sci-fi item Hollywood massacred, pick up a copy of Robert Heinlein's Starship Troopers (1959)---but only if you realize that all fiction from 1945 until the 1960s or '70s was colored by the Cold War. The movie missed all the cool futuristic inventions as well as butchering the plot. Stay safe, everyone.

I still remember when my father, sister and yours truly signed up to be extras in, Fire in the Sky. My father was selected, but his moment was cut. The movie was filmed in Oregon, my home state. The scene where Travis is found was filmed at the Brockway Store in Winston, about 20 minutes away from my childhood home.

Mars attacks was awesome! That it was not a hit with critics is not surprising no human pathos, they re idiots. Why it wasn t a hit with real people I don t know, a lot of people have trouble heavy satire. See Idiocracy.

Alien 3 is awesome. It has introduced the best thing about xenomorphs - taking features of their hosts. Nowadays each Alien-based movie, video game, novel, comic uses it.
