As an immortal superhero, Diana Prince spends her life encountering all sorts of friends and foes. But whether she's facing a god of war or low-level mischief, Diana handles everyone she meets with compassion, grace, and a golden lasso. Here are the characters in Wonder Woman 1984 with more meaning than viewers might realize. Early in Wonder Woman 1984, audiences visit Diana's metropolitan DC apartment filled with books on archaeology and cultural anthropology, plus some mementos nodding to the previous film. One black-and-white photo looks like a wedding celebration that reunited the ragtag commandos who helped her during World War I: Sameer, Charlie, and Chief. But a separate photo shows Diana some years after the war, standing in front of a city skyline alongside Etta Candy, a female friend from those early days. Etta wears glasses and looks grayer compared to Diana, who as an immortal superhero looks unchanged. But the actor credited as Etta in Wonder Woman 1984, even in this brief moment, is still Lucy Davis, who played her in the 2017 film. In the comics, Etta was Wonder Woman's closest friend, a career Air Force officer who later becomes a government agent. The 2017 film made her Steve Trevor's secretary, who awkwardly carried Diana's sword and shield and liked Diana's feistiness instantly. Etta preferred using her principles to fight -- mostly, anyway. The movie wasn t meaningless, it was meaningful. I understand the movie didn t have a lot of action and some of the scenes were cringe but that wasn t the point of the movie. The point was the message the movie conveyed about how what we wish for can end up affecting others. The movie simply tells us that we shouldn t forget what is truly important in our life. According to Rachel Garcia, The truth although painful, needs to come out to save us and save others. Nothing great will ever come from lying or being deceitful. I mainly loved the part when the villain realized his mistake at the end through the love for his son and him being honest with himself. Love and truth end up prevailing in the end and that is what we should always make sure prevails.
To conclude it was a great movie there could have been alot more action scenes but it is still a good movie, I loved the fact that Linda carter was at the end of movie portraying the Amazon who was the bravest and sacrificing herself so that her sisters can be freed. I WOULD RECOMMENDED THIS MOVIE.

Patty Jenkins needs to barred from the writers room. Zack Snyder and company wrote the first movie great and she directed it great. I guess that went to her head and somehow thought shes a good screenwriter too lol

If the general audience can't realize characters have meaning and you have to come out within a video explaining nuances it means you have terrible writers.
