The latest episode of The Walking Dead, Diverged, picks up shortly after long-term survivors Carol and Daryl have had a heartbreaking falling out. As they saunter back toward Alexandria, it's clear that things between them are still very frosty and they come to a literal fork in the road. In the fifth episode of The Walking Dead's season 10C, Carol's search for a problem to solve begins with her picking up a tattered scarf off the streets of Alexandria. When she finds Jerry working in one of the fields, he eyes the dirty fabric; Carol explains that she wants to wash it and mend the holes. Although Jerry seems a little concerned, he also doesn't have any other task for Carol to take on. She creates one for herself by announcing that she'll contribute to the rebuilding efforts by making a pot of soup for everyone. However, that seemingly simple assignment doesn't go as planned. Harrison: Even with deep symbolism. This was not a successful episode because the characters have already been through this development before. Carol went through this earlier in the season. Plus their friendship wasn t mended because it has to be mended in the final season

Glad to see pretty much everyone feels the same about this episode. When the last episode ended on a cliffhanger then there's this episode that does nothing to move the story forward. But they do this crap all the time so shouldn't be surprised.

After betta died, I gave up. This show has mentally exhausted me and I would rather just leave it as the ending being the victory over the Whispers. I just can't do this anymore.
