I really, really, really don't think there is enough of conical backstory for this type of villain - it's all too much.
Can name 3 possible better villains, with a believable history.

Jonathan Frakes has been doing some great production with The Orville, it's great to see that show getting the acclaim it has and really treading new ground with the whole NG feel for modern audiences.
I think Picard got too much flak from the fan base too, it is different and refreshingly graphic at times. OK, it has some cheese, but so do burgers.

Oh my God! Make it stop! Can t someone please make this crap stop! With that off my chest I can safely say I will not be wasting my time on this and I recommend everyone else do the same. If you need a Star Trek fix read one of the hundreds of books out there. They are so much better.

I just don t feel like season 1 nor 2 was value-added to the 24th Century storylines we ended with after Voyager. The only show that seems to be getting it right is Lower Decks. Possibly because it doesn t take itself so seriously.

I still theorize that Vadik will be a female Shinzon. Another clone, but a female one. Her ship looks Romulan, as akin to the Nerada and she has never been heard of before. My money says she is a new Picard clone.

Tng cast won't save Picard. He a frail old machine and died as a human. Only good new star trek is strange new worlds. Star trek is about a better future and not this grim future and drama and darkness
