Clearly Looper has no interest in an honest assessment of the film. To call any part of it wonderful and to speak of passing the torch is to ignore the giant garbage fire that it is. All the more shame that such a beautiful young actress' career will likely be ruined by its failure. Few people will want to see her on screen after the studio blames its failure on racism. That's like urinating on your customers and not even bothering to call it rain.

After watching a real action, aquatic, musical Disney movie twice in 1 weekend, I can say this was a decent movie that s enjoyable to watch. The little mermaid staring the beautiful beautiful Halle Bailey was amazing as she portrayed Ariel the mermaid we all know and every time she was either swimming underwater or walking on land as a glorious princess exploring with her prince.

No reason to have made this movie. My kids showed zero interest and said thats not Ariel. Explained its a movie, and anyone can play the part. But again, not needed. And not sure what diisney fams are being referred to cause the ones i know didnt even know this was a thing.

I m all for diversity but why is diversity only black people. There are Latinos, Middle Eastern, East Asian, South Asian, Pacific Islanders, etc etc.
Come on Hollywood, mix it up a bit. That also includes interracial relationships, mix it up.

The movie is not good. The animated movie is far better. I encourage all who haven't seen the original animated version, to do so first!
