WHY make and write a sequel to Freaky Friday when one already exists?
Mary Roger wrote a sequel to her novel Freaky Friday in 1974, it was called A Billion for Boris and followed the further adventures of Annabelle Andrews, her mother, her boyfriend Boris/Morris and her brother Ape Face and was filmed for TV in 1985.
The Premise being that Apeface comes in to possession of a TV set that shows tomorrows programmes today, Boris wants to use it to make money, Annabelle wants to use it to do good, Ape face wants to watch his favourite programmes a day early.
Why are they not doing a remake of this film, but rather hashing over yet another reworking of the body swap story?

Sequels nobody wants! We want something original, something that hasn't been done yet, Hollywood is sad and pathetic with no talent at all, how many superhero movies do you need to see?
Fast and Furious 10! Mission impossible 8! Indiana Jones 5! Absolutely nothing new!

I'd like to see Dodgeball and Rush Hour. I am however afraid it won't live up to the movies that came before like so many others. I loved Rush Hour 1&2 but three not as much. For all these movies lets get mostly fresh faces and let the originals have cameos.

90's Whoopi Goldberg in the Sister Acts was great. 2020's Whoopi isn't the same. IMDB has the working title listed as Kicking the Habit. Sounds about right. Not sure she can make a movie that isn't ridiculously progressive. Could be a disaster.

Hocus pocus 2 sucked they should have left it, I always loved that movie from the time it came out just like labyrinth when it came out when I was a kid. I shook my head the whole way through that money grab it was.

Dodgeball 2? Imo its abit late for that sequel. wasnt dodgeball made in the early 2, 000? Wouldnt the origional actors be in there 50s or so?
