If you're looking for ideas for another list, I love you girls so much I took after you and came up with a list of movies you can't handle if you have a dog for National Dog Day on August 26 next year.
10. Lady and The Tramp (1955)-A pampered cocker spaniel's comfortable life slips away when her owners have a baby, and she finds herself loose and on the street.
9. Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (1993)-Before a family leaves for a vacation, they drop off their pets at a friend's ranch. But when the animals start to worry that they've been left for good, the three embark together on a treacherous and thrilling journey to find their way back home.
8. Eight Below (2006)-3 men in a scientific expedition must leave their beloved sled dogs behind after a devastating accident.
7. All Dogs Go to Heaven (1989)-A dog is killed by a gambler, but returns from heaven thanks to the powers of a magical, rewindable watch. The dog sets out to take revenge on him with a plan that involves an orphan girl. In the end, he realizes he cannot stay with her as he has to go back to heaven.
6. Beethoven (1992)-A family adopts a Saint Bernard puppy and the father feels displaced by him. It takes time for him to warm up to him, but Beethoven's life with the family is threatened when a scheming vet tries to steal the dog for a deadly experiment.
5. Turner and Hooch (1989)-An uptight police officer, Scott Turner, reluctantly inherits his late friend's dog Hooch and realizes Hooch may be able to help him solve the murder case.
4. Marley and Me (2008)-A newlywed couple, John and Jenny, adopt a yellow lab puppy named Marley who grows up to be a mischievous handful but still brings out the best in John and Jenny and their children.
3. A Dog's Purpose (2017)-A lovable dog is reincarnated as multiple canines over the course of 50 years and develops an unbreakable bond with a kindred spirit named Ethan. As the boy grows older, the dog comes back into his life to remind him of his true self.
2. Old Yeller (1957)-When a man is off on a cattle drive, his wife and sons are left behind on their Texas ranch. When a runaway dog causes damage in one of their fields, one of the sons, Travis, initially tries to drive him away, but they warm up to Old Yeller when he saves his brother from a bear attack. As Travis and Old Yeller bond, concern grows about an outbreak of rabies.
Honorable Mentions:
Firehouse Dog (2007)
Bolt (2008)
1. Hachiko: A Dog's Tale (2009)-A young boy, Ronnie, shares with his classmates the story of his personal hero, his grandfather's beloved dog Hachi. After his owner suffers a fatal and unexpected brain hemorrhage at work, Hachi waits for him to come back at the train station for 9 years until his own death.
I have 2 dogs and I destroy a box of Kleenex anytime I even think about Hachiko: A Dog's Tale. If any movie proves that we don't deserve dogs, it's that one.

If you want a good cry like some of these movies watch Dead like me: life after death
A girl who has died is walking through life in a different body because she is a grim reaper and she messes up and doesn't get to an appointment on time to take a soul. The victim turns out to be her sister's secret boyfriend and the sisterly dynamic is so heartbreaking and relatable. Especially if you're someone like me who has an age gap with their sister and regrettably neglected her most of her life because I was depressed.
I don't think you need to know the whole context of the short-lived tv series for it to really get you.

I think for the most part that MsMojo and WatchMojo are pretty good at making lists. Most of the time I can agree, but sometimes, they have massive misses. Lilo and Nani should of course be on this list over Anna and Elsa. Nani gave up pretty much everything to try and raise Lilo, took her to get a dog when she wanted one, and still took time out of her busy life to spend quality time with her. They have a fantastic bond and it was the first movie that ever really taught me how to move on through loss.

The movie version of My Sisters Keeper was AWFUL compared to the book- they switched up the ending for some reason and its always irked me. In the book, the one without cancer dies and the one with cancer ultimately gets better, the ENTIRE point of the story is that her own parents and loved ones missed her whole life because they were so worried about her sister. The lesson was supposed to be to never take the people in your life for granted because you never know how long youll get with them.
reply

Sorry MsMojo but I have to disagree with you choosing Anna and Elsa over Lilo and Nani. Nani basically busts her ass and probably dropped out of school to support Lilo and make sure that she doesn't end up in foster care. She practically gave up her own life to ensure Lilo gets a better one.
While Frozen is more popular, I think Lilo and Stitch does a better job at portraying a strong sister bond.

Times like this Msmojo and WatchMojo get up my nerves for the popular views they want! As much as I love Elsa and Anna Lilo and Nani deserve that spot so much more! They had so much more development together while Anna and Elsa are always apart from each other in their movie! People all of the time say that Lilo and Nani have a far better relationship than Elsa and Anna! It makes no sense!
reply

Sisters. Nothing like them. I have 2: one 13 years older, and one 7 years older (there are a few brothers in between there as well. Even though I was always the baby sister, we've always been close. We're now 68, 62, and 54. and we're still as close as anything, although living states apart. I wouldn't trade my Godmother and my Beauty Queen for anything.

i remember watching number one movie with my sister, both of us crying the hell out of ourselves at the far edges of the sofa, not even able to glance at each other. that movie shook us like hell. and it was like 1 year after our mom passed away, maybe that's why we were affected at such level.

I know my sister like I know my own mind, you'll never find anyone as trusting or kind.
I love my sister more than anything in my life, I will choose her happiness over mine every time.
I LOVE my sisters more than anything else! Sarah Langdon and Carmen Batista!

Im sorry you chose Elsa and Anna over Lilo and Nani? Nani literally raised Lilo and gave up her career and education and fought to keep her. And you chose a 2 dimensional relationship where one sister ignored the other instead of letting her help her?
reply

Lilo and Nani should have been on here instead of Anna and Elsa. And lets talk about My Sisters Keeper; the book is better than the movie. The book however will piss you off though because of its ending, which (SPOILER) was changed for the movie.
reply

Just out of curiosity, why didn't y'all include any brother-sister movies? Those could qualify too, especially if the brother is the younger one. To anyone else who reads this, does this make me seem selfish? Because that's not my intention.
reply

Are there just no good movies about a brother and sister? Shrug, I feel like thats a different dynamic that could be really cool, and possibly have less movies that are just focused on weird rivalry romance between siblings.
reply

Please make a video about best brothers in movies/TV series and add Sam and Dean Winchester on the top, you'd agree they deserve it. Also, please mention Jared and Jensen's real life bromance. Please please do! Thank you.
reply

i'm especially creeped out by my sister's keeper because 1. i'm called kate 2 my sister's called anna and 3. we're twins so bonus if like the girls in the movie i needed a new kidney from the other or whatever i'd be sweet
reply

Haha I don't have a sister I'll have to worry about what the other sister. but I do have some annoying Three Brothers they run my life all the time they get in my freaking nerves sometimes I want to slap them so bad.
reply

The Fanning sisters were gonna play the sisters in #1, but Dakota found out she would have to shave her head, so she backed out. and when she did, Elle did.
Also, the ending is very different from the book

reply

Anyone ever seen Perfect Sisters though? Made me cry so much. Me and my sister grow up in the same kind of situation those sisters in the movie did so made me hug the shit out of her
reply

Msmojo could you please try to do a video with Michael and his soul mate Holly from the US The Office? It would be greatly appreciated by many I believe
reply

my sister's keeper is the only movie that has ever made me cry. I had to keep pausing the movie so I wouldn't start bawling my eyes out.
reply

My favorites in this list:
Frozen, Little Women, My Sisters Keeper, Parent Trap
LILO and Stitch was incredibly overlooked for this list.

reply

I would do anything for my older sister! Defend her against jerks, speaking up for what we believe in, save her life (if she needed saving)

reply

HOW can you possibly list 27 Dresses starring Katherine Heigl but not her other better sisters focused movie Wish Upon a Star!
reply

Yeah. Nani and Lilo are WAAAAAY better than Anna and Elsa but I'm betting you figured that out after reading all the comments.
