Shock
One real big moment that was left off of the video entirely was a modern farewell the family says goodbye as viewers at home were crying into their dinners and sure while we were going to see Cam's actor on a game show in the very next program audience at home watched as the realization set in that this may be the last time we ever see all of these people on our screens making new content ever and this is me personally the moment that broke me so hard was the ending of Haley and Alex's last prank on Luke before the dunphy trio go their separate ways for a little while the girls telling Luke to sit on the couch and stay all three silently acknowledging that it's mainly because the three of them wanted to cuddle on the couch one last time yeah that's the moment in the series finale that broke me and by the time the game show started my eyes were looking like Niagara falls and 2 minutes later I was looking like Phil dunphy whenever Luke and Manny graduated in season 8 episode 22

A couple Id leave off, but Jays feelings speech was definitely #1 as my dad was the same way. The episode where Cams dad sends the soap topper thus accepting them, Phil going off at the hospital when Haley was dating the jeans salesman, when Haley broke down in the experiment room with the button, when Mitch and Claire found out why Jay cut the vacation short. Also, when Haley went to college and that phone call to end the episode. Philsosophy! Theres Va really too many subtle ones thats touching. There can literally be a Top 10 for each character!

That episode where Gloria tricked Manny and Jay into thinking Gabriel Iglesias was Manny's dad. Jay had a monologue before the reveal where he tells Manny: And for the record, I've been your dad since you were 10, and I'm gonna be your dad until I'm gone. I love you and I always will.
It's amazing to think how in S1, Jay has to be forced to build a fan with Manny and didn't want a lot to do with him. Now he actually refers to himself as Manny's father. It warns my heart every time he does.

I was very impressed in the episode where phil writes alex's name on the moon and in the episode where claire doesn't realize that alex hasn't slept for days and continues to deal with haley by saying nothing will happen to her. Actually, Alex is the character that impressed me the most in the series, his experiences are so real. an unnoticed underappreciated ghost who has to look after herself all the time, trapped between her indifferent parents and siblings.

Honestly I feel bad for Alex. Claire in my opinion doesn't seem to worry about Alex more as she should. She even admitted she just let Alex on auto pilot and never really cared about Alexs problems because Alex was more self reliant- her approach with Luke and Haley wasn't the best either. I feel like Phil did a better job with the kids with problems and that's one of the reasons I love him so much.

For me it was the episode where haley and andy break up, claire had to fire someone and alex coming back home and nobody gives attention to her
In that episode everybody was sad at the end and it says that you'd be having one of those bad days and all you want is to go back to the comfort of your family but they're also having a bad

There's so much scenes here that made me cry, my mother passed away a year ago so when Jay started crying when he remembered his mother it made me cry hard.
And then this scene where neither Jay nor mitch can say I love you but when mitch looked at Jay for long time and was trying (he couldn't say it) Jay simply replied I know

What I didnt like about modern family is that all these serious moments, all these moments of character development, it never seems to stick. The jokes on Glorias accent, Jays on and off care for Gloria, Cams toxic traits, etc. I stopped watching by season 3 or 4 when the inconsistency with continuity just got repetitively irritating.

For me the most heartfelt moment in modern family ep was when Phil found a note that jay wrote for his mom. Phil was trying to get the emotions out of jay because he never seen his father in law get vulnerable with him. Jay literally cried remembering his sweet mom and reminded him of the little boy he was.

The death of Phils dad is one of the saddest moments in TV history in my opinion. Modern Family feels so different from other shows, because it feels like the viewer is a part of the family and you feel like you really know these people, so when a character dies, it feels like your own family member died.

When Mitch told Jay to not come to his wedding made me tear up a lot, like Mitch finally could marry the love of his life, after being with him for years and had a daughter to his dad telling him that he is not yet comfortable with who he is, I felt really bad for Mitch, he is my favorite character

Hey!
I think Dede's death lightly freed Claire and Mitchell. They really showed (on how they act) how traumatic it is to grow up with Dede, and of course even though they experienced that they still mourned for her. But I guess it was unfair that their feelings for their mother was somehow invalidated.

lowkey when jay talks about dede after she died, making the best sandwiches in the world and how she would go out of her way to this bakery to get the best bread broke my heart. he said he drove by the bakery and it wasnt there anymore and it made him depressed and now it makes me depressed

I think one moment was when Phils birthday got ruined in season one and we see Phil turning off his emotions when he gets back home. And literally no one cared except later
It turned out fine in the show but we all know how it plays out in real life

4: 54 I just binged watch the whole series. The one that makes me cry everytime is when Jay walks Mitch down the isle. The second the violin starts and he says I thought wed take a walk I'm already tearing up. And Claries speech was so sweet.

I love the one where Gloria tells Jay shes pregnant. She has such a defiant look and posture and tears in her eyes and then his positive response makes all that melt away. Always gets me. Sophia played it great!

Technically in number 7, Jay NEVER said to him ''I don't want you to get married with him'', he said ''don't make it into a festival if you can't afford it''. From that point it did escalate to all that.

An honourable mention should be Jay saying goodbye to Earl. It was a very short moment but it truly showed that even though they turned enemies they still cared for one another.

what made me bawl like a baby was when dede died and they were listening to her last words on a call. I accidentally recorded my dad's last call to me, it's saved to my phone.

For me a sad moment was when Jay tells Manny that is a dad who takes care of you, since age 10 you been my son. Regardless of DNA test. Even though it was a prank. It hurt.

Jay spreading his rival's ashes over the hill at sunset, just like the rival's letter describes. Underrated moment, I'm surprised no one ever talks about it.

So basically everyone made Al Bundy so saturated with these ideology he had to betray everything he believed in just to fit in with his family? That's bull
