Encanto is my new favorite Disney movie. Mostly because it is my youngest granddaughter's favorite. They play it a couple of times a day at my daughter's house, so I see it, or parts of it, several times a week. My granddaughter is still just a baby, but her eyes light up when the Encanto music starts up again. It is a magical film, both in subject and effect.

Colombia is incredible: Rain forest jungles, deserts, snowy pick mountains, paradise beaches, islands (San andres in the caribbean sea) cold weather cities and hot weather ones, ones in the middle in an eternal spring like Medellin, and hundreds of really different accents so extraordinary.

I did a presentation on Colombia. After I did my research, I just knew I had to go there someday. And by that, I mean Colombia itself! I also added Encanto as a fun fact! It was kinda fun learning about Colombian culture and its simply beautiful!

I found Colombia a beautiful place and fairly easy to travel, but there are parts that you should avoid as a tourist, including the region that river is in. Always prepare before you visit any country.

If I would go to any of these places in Colombia, I would absolutely go to Los Estoraques, Medellin, Aracataca, the Choco Rainforest, Barichara, and the Cano Cristales.

It is incredible that in Colombia you can change from a beautiful white beach with beautiful blue sea, to a thick jungle with impressive rivers and waterfalls.

If there is ever an encanto sequel, I think the salt cathedral of Zipaquira (which is build inside a former mine) would be a great inspiration for Luisas room

People saying they actually live in Columbia makes me even more jealous, but I live in America and I am proud: ) even though theres like 600 million people

It's so cool how disney gets inspired by all these wander full places. No wonder there movies are so special and have lasted the tests of time.

The man singing in Spanish at 11: 12 is actually Colombian Vallenato legend Carlos Vives, who Lin-Manuel Miranda was inspired by for that song.

And I recommend to visit Colombia on December. The 7th is the night of little candles, so you will see everywhere in the country with candles

0: 15 Thats just our Screaming Lin. Every modern household has one, he pops out of random places and shouts when nobody is expecting.

Another fact: In an episode of LOKI, when Sylvie bombed several locations to create Nexus Events one of the places was Barichara.

Ok, this might be the first time I see my cityr, valledupar, represented on this media, and it is kind of amazing! Thank you Msmojo

Lin Manuel Miranda just popping out of the blue door is just adorable in my eyes. Just him being an absolute Lin-namon roll.

I would love to see the actual Casita house in person, especially even Gemini Man featured Casita long before Encanto

Anyone else have a feeling that Encanto might win an Oscar for Best Animated Feature this year! Because I think so!
reply

Although I like people to know more about Latin American culture, tourism sometimes destroys these wonderful places.
