can you tell me how Heroine convinced her daughter to Hug and that one hug changed daughter to not going to Bagel of nothing. That scene has no logic as Daughter said I am tired of this multiverse and will move to Bagel of nothing. And in another scene, Heroine already went into Bagel of nothing but then after nothing changed. Then what's the purpose of Bagel of Nothing which her daughter says its the ultimate end to multiverse.

His acceptance speech is so energetic, emotional and down to earth.
Since the man wanted to keep his original name, if you someone care enough to adress him in the right way, his surname is Quan, his given name is Huy, Ke is the middle name. So, if someone wants to be friendly, address him as Ke Huy or Huy would be nicer. Just a simple fyi, not that I meant it's compulsory: )

His interaction with Brandon Fraser after they received their Oscars is the definition of a genuine puppy dog joy. Such an incredible man who was able to finds ways to be around what he loved. Then being able to do it after years of rejection. He will definitely be a great addition to the MCU and I will watch as much of him as I can!

This role was actually given to Jackie Chan and Chan agreed to act but since he was in CCP and US Govt threatened the movie makers with jail, ban and hefty penalties, Chan opted out the avoid all these conflicts and issue. If acted, he would have won Best Actor Award in Oscar first time. US politics ruined great man's success.

I couldnt wait for this movie to be over. For the life of me I cant see what all the fuss is about. For me it was disjointed, silly without being fun, and scenes werent given a second to breathe. The story also wasnt compelling at all. It was like they wanted to be the matrix without putting in the work.

He has escaped from the vietnamese communist and now, he won an Oscar. Congratulation! Now, vietnamese people still are suffering from the brutality of The communist. We cant truly express our thought and our feeling. We cant vote for the leader. People are brain washed by the government. How awful!

Encino Man cast: Brenden Frasier goes on to win an Oscar and star in a DC series Doom Patrol. Ke Hu Kuan goes on to win an Oscar and star in a Marvel series Loki. Sean Astin goes on to star in the Lord of the Rings films and a season of Stranger Things. Pauly Shore uhhh uhhh thats it bu-ah-ddy!

Always remembered him in The Goonies and Indiana Jones and the temple of doom. He was in 2 of the most iconic films of the 80's before this one. A great actor, im so happy for him. Oh and i almost forgot, i loved him in this martial arts film he did way back in 1991 called Breathing Fire.

Congrat Ke but to be honest his acting is just fine for me though! Specially the EEAAO is too complicated and confusing to see, although it tried to copy the Matrix and some other pieces of other movies. For me the Whale or Banshee are more deserved than it.

I think anyone who saw Ke Huy Quan as a child where screaming for him to win. He is the antithesis of what Hollywood actors should be himself, real kind. Congratulations Ke from all of us who have loved you as a child but now still love you all grown up.

The least justified Oscar in the history of the Oscars lol, people are happy and satisfied and they say that this award inspires a lot of people, yes of course, because this shows that you don't have to do a super role like before to win an Oscar lol.

This brings warmth to my heart, Quan's speech was one of the most raw and sincere I've seen in Academy History. We grew up with Huy Quan in Goonies and Indiana Jones and his lovable character put adventure in our hearts. Keep it going Huy Quan.

You are up there with then my friend! Even just the few movies you did you'll always will be known. I watched him since he started, going to theaters with my father then my kids and now my grand kids know who you are buddy. Glad your back

He wont be walking on fortune cookies anymore. He will be holding onto his millions of potatoes. Only in America can these dreams happen. A true legal immigrant who immigrated to America, only to fulfill his and his parents American Dream.

I have got to see Everything Everywhere All At Once. I don't even care that it won any awards. It just looks like an interesting film in a time when good cinema's becoming an endangered species.

I['m blessed to be from the very era that gave us this incredible human. Hopefully now it's time for Short Round to take over for Indy and he is truly the best successor for the franchise.
reply

The role was originally suppose to star Jackie but im glad they picked Ke. Why? cuz that near end scene when he makes that dramatic speech. Jackie isnt known for being good at drama xDDD
reply

I hope Ke Huy Quan and Steven Spielberg will work in a movie together that tells the story of the Vietnamese boat ppl refugees of Northern Luzon, Philippines. Their story must also be told.
reply

short round without a doubt! he may have just been a kid at the time but the dynamic he brought to temple of doom made it my favorite indiana jones movie.
reply

I watched Everything Everywhere All At Once and had no idea it was him. At the back of my mind something told me he vaguely seemed familiar though.
reply

I agree with all of these. Even though I wasn't Big on Everything All at once, it was still a good movie. I hope that we see MORE of him in the future.
reply

I can't even watch his whole acceptance speech at the Oscars, because when the woman's voice cracks as she reads his name, I just start ugly crying.
reply

I love how him and Brendan were in that film and even shared a scene or two, and 31 years later each won an Academy Award on the same night.
reply

Ke will always be my data and shortround! I am so proud and happy for him and has family! The very best in this new adventure's!

I never know him and when i saw the movie. i actually said. that man looked like JACKY CHAN must be his brother

I am so damn happy for Ke Huy Quan and Brendan Fraser. Love them both. I'm not crying, you're crying.
