It's been another stellar decade for voice acting. For this list, well be looking at the most impressive vocal roles that we heard between 2013-2023. Our countdown includes Moana, Anomalisa, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and more! Which voiceover sticks with YOU the most?

great Top, my fav voice acting of this last decade are: Idina Menzel as Elsa, Kristen Bell as Anna and Josh Gad as Olaf (he isn't only funny, gave weight in the dramatic scenes, his best lines: love is thinking about the happiness of others before ours it is worth melting for certain people); Ginnifer Goodwin as Judy, Will Arnett as Batman in Lego Batman (yes, he has very funny lines and he interpreted the character well in each situation, Stephanie Beatriz as Mirabel (You're right, she captured the empathy of the character, besides being amazing how she hides the character's pain through a sunny personality) and Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, but I also like the performance of Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy. of course Amy Poehler was excellent with the enthusiasm of Joy and also the interpretation of Phyllis Smith as Sadness, when interpreting the emotions

The voice actors on this list deserve all the credit and awards! Because like all voice actors these people really gave their all putting their heart and soul into their performances as these characters!
Actors like Jack Black, Josh Gad and Jay Baruchel, And especially Dwayne Johnson are all absolute legends!

Jack Black definitely and totally deserves to win the Golden Emmys. He's a True National Treasure of the Voice Acting Community. I Absolutely Love his Voice Acting Performance as the Villainous Role of Bowser Koopa from The Super Mario Bros. Movie this year. He's also a Spectacular Singer when he sang Peaches!

We need an Oscar category for Best Voiceover Performance. so many great performances that dont have any avenue right now to properly recognize themlove the shout out for Jennifer Jason Leigh! Amy is great in Inside Out, but will say that Phyllis Smith gives the absolute standout performance in that movie.

Jack black voicing Bowser Has to be the best performance ever herd when I saw the Mario movie and heard him voice Bowser I was like oh my god this is amazing to hear bowsers voice Im hoping for the next kids choice awards 2024 hell be nominated for favorite voice for an animated movie

To add a cartoon sitcom to the list there is also Sean Astin as Chester the cat in Bunnicula and Raphael in TMNT as well as Eric Bauza as Fozzie Bear in Muppet Babies, Grey Griffith as Puppycorn in Unikity as well as Tara Strong as Unikitty and Twilight Sparkle.
reply

Bradley Cooper as Rocket is the absolute best - Rocket is as real as all the non-CG characters in every film hes in. To feel that real playing opposite non-CG and not playing opposite other animated characters is a true accomplishment. Totally should be #1.

I give universal praise to all the voice actors on this list for bringing all these characters to life. You always have to be the character when doing this big task and that can be challenging. Voice actors should honestly be rewarded more for their work.

Maybe when the Super Mario Bros Movie 2 comes out to theaters, it will be based on the Mario&Luigi game line by Alphadream. Seeing Jack Black Rock out to in the final fight will be legendary. As well as finally seeing Pedro Pascal play Wario.

Jack Black also voiced Lenny the shark from Shark Tale. I know the movie isnt loved by many people but I enjoyed the voice work in that one. Everybody brought their A-game. Also, Christian Bale was great as Howl in Howls Moving Castle.

I recently watched The Super Mario Brothers movie and I was impressed with it. Though, to be honest, I didnt recognize Jack Black as Bowser. Other than that, it was a great movie and I dont regret watching it.

Jack Black as Bowser, Lin-Manuel Miranda as Vivo (although he's not on the list, Josh Gad as Olaf, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Stephanie Beatriz as Mirabel Madrigal and Taron Egerton as Johnny are my favorites

Jack Black is a national treasure. He's one of those legendary actors who takes whatever role he's given and automatically elevates it to absolute godhood. And Bowser is the peak of this magnificence so far.
reply

Sorry but jack black as po is far better than any other the amount of emotion he bring out of a silly character is amazing his talk with shifu before finally being trained is one of the best voice acting I heard
reply

Ben Schwartz as movie Sonic, Rise of the TMNT Leonardo and Duck Tales reboot Dewey duck. Even as an adult he has the voice of a teenager, youve got to admit that he deserves a spot on the list.
reply

Jack Black was really great as Bowser. You can barely tell its him. He has Bowser's voice, his personality, and his tone just like in the games. I can't wait to see him again in the sequel.

Ok but can we acknowledge Ella Purnell as Jinx in Arcane? She did a fantastic job, she got all the emotion down and really understood the character enough to give an amazing performance
reply

I think Jim Carrey as Dr. Eggman from the Sonic movie should have been on this list too. He was hilarious, and really showed how the evil genius went from Robotnik to Eggman
reply

At first, I was afraid of how Jack Black would approach the voice of Bowser. But only after hearing him in the trailers was when I realized that Black was truly inspired casting.
reply

I wish theyd have added Ben Shawrtz as Sonic the Hedgehog. I thought he was a great choice to voice him. Which makes me even more upset to find out hes on the strike too.
reply

Josh/Olaf or Eihme/Joy or Jack/Brouler or Vin AKA Groot or damn goodness Shameik/Miles Morales= now I'm so unsure which is better voice actor olaf, joy, or Groot
reply

I'm glad Amy Pohler got the no. 1 spot! Inside Out is one of my favorite Pixar movies! I also met Joy and Sadness at Disney World, and they were adorable!
reply

This should be re-titled Top 10 Best Voice Acting Performances by non-Voice Acting Actors of the Last Decade. No love for ACTUAL voice actors -_-
reply

Okay, now do television shows featuring legitimate voice actors who don't get nearly enough recognition as their big budget celebrity counterparts.
reply

Nick Offerman As Axey Smartist\ Axe Cop In Axe Cop (2013-2015) loved that show 10 years ago but I don't think It aged well not sure on that front oh well.
reply

I'm surprised that you put bowser that high, I mean it's very much a top tier performance, I was just expecting it to be lower on the list that's all.
reply

Now they give Taron Egerton some recognition. Sure it was only an honorable mention, but still. I swear, I could listen to him talk AND sing all day.
reply

Auli'i Cravalho as Moana. She balances strength, spunk, and vulnerability in a lead performance at just age 16 and has a wonderful singing voice.
