Someone wrote on social media when the casting for Breaking Bad was announced that Bryan Cranston was only a comedic actor and the show wouldn’t survive one season with him as the lead. Oh how wrong they were, Bryan’s performance was one of, if not the most, incredible performances I’ve seen in television and film. There’s not a single weak performance in the entire show either, everyone involved was phenomenal.

Comedy is usually more difficult than drama because it depends more on perfect timing. It doesn't surprise me that comedians are good dramatic actors as well. Some are definitely better than others, though.

Bryan Cranston is such a versatile actor, he played a bumbling, quirky dad, and a chemistry teacher turned meth dealer to perfection. Hal and Walt likely wouldn't like each other if they ever met.
