Is it possible that richard gadd outed his own issues so that this exact thing would happen If you can't get the police to really protect you what are your options In the film he says one of them had to die. Perhaps he figured this beats killing her, exposing a person that he thought might get some help or at least get put on the public radar. Sued beats getting murdered, and losing money on a film beats getting charged with murder. I liked the film. The point of it to me is sort of why things don't get reported, all the shame, grooming and how people become victims and perpetrators. It was scary sad and interesting, surprisingly candid.

People literally missed the message he is trying to show in the show. They were BOTH wrong and needed mental health treatments. He even said it himself, the show is going to be frustrating because it’s a reality he lived. The back and forth with this woman and the producer show us how he wasn’t good with himself.
Also For all the people who went to find this woman. just why

reply

All I have to say is why give Fiona Harvey a platform to speak her truth This woman admitted to stalking Richard Gadd! For the people who falsely accused some of the people of doing horrible things to Richard, you guys owe Richard and the falsely accused an apology. Richard doesn't need any more trauma in his life after everything he's been through.

As far as the stalker goes, I think she's lying to be honest. And though I don't condone harassment, this lady put herelf out there and gave herself a voice. One thing that should be applauded is Gad allowing himself to be vulnerable. So many people want to guess who's behind certain chracters and overlook the brave story he tells.
reply

I seen a theory online that Gadd possibly came out with the show used himself in the series because he kind of wanted her to reemerge. I guess since in the show he admits to starting to like the attention, it’s possible.
Also, I don’t think Fiona is lying tbh. Who would want to be held next to a character such as Martha

reply

I think she has or at the very least has traits of borderline personality disorder. Not trying to be speculative, I was in a similar situation with someone who behaved this way and had that diagnosis. The sad thing is, it does usually stem from a terrible trauma. But she still knows right from wrong, lies from truth.

When victims of anything are tragically ruined and killed, medias are praised when sonething is accurate and true to the victims and what happened to them. But when victims decide to show what they went through and are still alive, victims become the villians and try to ruin them.

Some people might misconstrue the ending scene, where a sympathetic barman offers Donny a free drink, to read that Donny becomes a stalker. But in my opinion, it's there to show that Donny didn't lead Martha on, and was only showing her a bit of kindness, which is where the trouble began.

Honestly they could've changed some things up. Change hair color or style, hell even time period. Location. Something so they can't search and find. And then ppl that had to know leave the poor woman alone. Like he did keep saying stop speculating
reply

It was interesting during the interview when Fiona said that she never sent Gadd a voicemail and that he secretly might have recorded her voice. In the show, you find out Martha recorded all of their conversations. Speaking from experience Just sayin.
reply

Her message were out in the public domain. She can't take anyone to court because the public were able to get hold of the messages, which they did. Its how they tracked her down. She outed herself.
She's deluded.

reply

I love how Fiona completely proved Gad’s point and made a mockery of herself. Looks like she hasn’t changed and is still seeking attention.
Poor woman needs help.

reply

I still don’t understand how anyone found her all the people who claimed to have found her after watching are literal liars because he hid her identity she outed herself
reply

I watched the Piers Morgan interview and felt filthy and nauseous afterwards. That woman is seriously mentally ill. I hope she gets help before someone gets hurt.
reply

I watched it. I didn’t like it at all. She was clearly mentally ill. he enabled it. he was abused by the writer and kept going back! It was very frustrating!
reply

Piers gave her a glass of water. That's how it starts. He may regret the day. He knew better and yet he had to do the interview.
