There are a total of 46 locker keys in The Evil Within. The keys are required to open the safes in the hospital (where you save your game. 44 of the keys are scattered across the story and the other 2 can be found inside the lockers. Opening all lockers will then earn you the Master of Unlocking trophy / achievement. Each locker contains useful items, such as ammo or green gel to upgrade your skills. There are only 45 lockers, so there's one extra key in the game. Most of the keys are inside white Madonna Statues. You need to destroy the statue to reveal the key. Some others can be found in little boxes throughout the story. There is no way to keep track of which keys you have already obtained. If you die after getting a key you have to pick it up again! Only after reaching a checkpoint your progress will be saved. You can grab missing keys via chapter select after beating the game Acutally, there is one more in chapter 14. At the start if you go down the stairs and turn your way to the right where the long corridor is, there is a pillar on the left (where there are blue safes, one of them contains 2 shotgun shells if I'm not mistaken, go around the pillar and look up to the ceiling, there is a hole and an iron grid there, the lower part of the key statue can be seen there. Shoot the statue and the key will fall down to the floor.

so i finished this game just today, great game! buuut i was using this guide and ign since i wanted to get all the collectables (i missed 1 audio tape accidently. thought i got it aaaand that was a bummer) but the ign guide said there was one key that wasn't in this vid. and it's at the very start of chap 11. really sneaky thing that one is. i would recommend u go check out it if ur wondering what it is but it's missing that one. other then that i think it has every other key but idk if it's missing some but just wanted to say that! great guide!

Somglad you made this video. I beat this game awhile ago, but qm just now going back for new game+. I missed one key on my first playthrough. It's gonna be a pain the ass, but I know your guide will lead me to the final one. Your guides have always been on point, homie. Many thanks and keep up the amazing work!

I'm usually very good when it comes to looking for game items and secrets but this game video me feel like a amateur, I missed about 10 keys even during NG+3 for goodness sake. smh

How do you get the statue on -the craftsmans tools? - After you do what you are supposed to do. i was never back by the elevator to get the statue. Help! :)

I am missing keys in chapter 2, 3 and 7 So can I find the keys I-m missing, find nearest mirror, open the locker, save, then skip to next chapter?

After Tatiana disappears, it the Las chance to use the keys. But none of them open to another key when I did it, am I missing something?

It-s impossible for me to get the key out of the corpse in chapter 4. I just get gel out of the corpse
