Here we go again. for every piece of good news-they announce something to piss you off. There is no Virtual Console at launch and the system doesn't have all of its launch-day functionality in place until a day one system patch. This reduces the already low onboard memory. Now we hear that one of the Joy-Con-s has connectivity issues and there is no Bluetooth headset support. Can you say -RUSHED TO MARKET-?
Embargoes are a failsafe to cut down on negative press. Hmmmm. there are plenty of them associated with this launch. reason to be concerned?

How does it feel to use the joycons separately? I liked having my hands far apart with the wiimote nunchuck combo. I'd imagine it'd be hard to switch (ugh) to the right analog stick without having the leverage of the whole console to lean into. I'm bummed that moving a camera will apparently suck in portable mode, particularly with a game like Zelda. And why the hell aren't there two kickstands, or one in the middle?

It's funny how you think this comes with two controllers? All the controllers have issues especially the Joy-cons in split mode. very tiny & awkward placement of triggers & thumb sticks. -It's fine and passable- is not what I want with a $300 console. Typical Nintendo-out of the box the system is plagued with hidden costs as the accessories end up being necessities.

Still feel like this is way overpriced without ANY games. I really want to like the Switch, mainly because Concerned Ape is considering porting Stardew Valley into it and my god if I had a portable version of that game, but at the current price point it feels like I'm paying $100 extra for the gimmicks in the Joycons like HD rumble that might get used in one game.

Don't know why this console is released now. they should have waited another 4 months and launched with some more games. Xmas is the eariliest I've think about for buying. It's also too expensive once you look at some of the add ons like the Pro Controllor which is need IMO as that right paddel just doesn't suit my hand! Very annoying.

For anyone worried about the kickstand: it actually is designed to snap back on
so if you forget to flip it back down and throw it into the dock, it'll snap off and you can just snap it back on no problem

I hope with the USB type C port placement that somebody will have enough incentive to make -low profile- or -narrow interface- charge cables. Because I've already been looking for them and nobody seems to.

why didnt they lower the right analog. it looks extremelt weird and uncomfortable to play with the analog stick in the middle. still going to get it. but just weird design

Your video effect is really obvious considering we know what the console colors should look like. It probably would have been better to not lower color saturation.

400 euro for switch and zelda while you can get PS4 slim and 3 games for 350 and monthly free games this is too expensive for someone that is not a big nintento fan.

if you are in a location or place that has the table surface moving even a little. id recommend just using it with the joycons hooked onto it handheld mode.
