Alright another Europarade collection of songs this time with 1995. In my opinion the 1995-1999 period is where the fun stuff starts, it looks like it was a really good year for German hits with my fav German hit of the year being Sie ist weg by Die Fantastischen Vier. I also enjoyed Miss Sarajevo by Passengers, There Is a Party by DJ BoBo, Meravigliosa creatura by Gianna Nannini, all 3 Bon Jovi songs and also that Perfecto Allstarz song was sampled in the song Watch Out by Alex Gaudino which was a hit in 2008. Hope to see that in the 1996 video you will add songs like Dieu m'a donne la foi by Ophelie Winter and L'instant X by Mylene Farmer. Great selection and looking to the '96 Eurochart; )

Ok, I'm a Brit, but my 2 favorite albums of that year totally missing, Jagged Little Pill and The Bends. But the music was so fragmented then. There was the US R&B, the trip-hop stuff, britpop and actually the dance music like trance which never went into the charts.

Of these, I'd say my favorite song of that year was Blur's Country House. I also love Chains by Tina Arena but that song wasn't released until '96 in the States, so I associate it more with '96.

Those were some good music clips you made there. Me & My are from Denmark just like me. I hope you can sleep with T'N'G' with Gibberish in 1996

The first time I went to Germany was in 1995 and Mief and Schwein Sein were all over the place. People were really excited to have homegrown hits.

This is around the time I stopped listening to the charts. it's not because there want some good music around - it just became very samey.

Faster does not necessarily make a song better. Sadly it seemed many music producers in the 90s seemed to think it so. :/
