Watching this made me realise how lucky I was to grow up in a small Asian town. Specifically a village, where it's fenced but the gate was always open. Instead of a duck and a dog, I had a daschund, 2 strays dogs, a duck, a goose and 4 chickens. I had all of them from babies, except the stray dogs, which weren't exactly grown up when they came to me. They behaved all the same, patrol the area, swim, chasing birds and squirrels, cuddle time, nap, gang beef with other animals from other houses they loved us and each other, always guarding each other. There was a cobra that chose the wrong house, all my lovely trusted buddies got a piece of that intruder, poor snake. I think of the period of time a lot, dirt poor, but happy and never alone.

Thank you for taking that poor duck and loving it! No animal should be treated so bad. It’s amazing a dog and duck get along so good. Totally different species.
It’s really sickening that people of the same race can’t get along the same species -just because of color, race or origin.
Animals are just amazing long as they’re raised with love thank you so much.

And I live on water with ducks and the neighbors kick them, throw things at them. and hate me because I love them. They do credit me for having ducks in the area. where we live on water. Imagine. ducks living near water. But. ducks poop ya know so that's their defense.

My favorite photo is when Pam is looking at George. We used to own ducks and I got attached to one in particular and he would follow me every where I went. I cried like a baby when Zeppo passed away . I still miss him so very much and that 20 years ago.

There's a salmonella outbreak near me at the moment. Now I understand why one of the official precautions was NOT TO CUDDLE your chickens. Ducks and chickens can be such beautiful companions. What an amazing story.

To anybody who owns or wants to own a pet duck DO NOT LET YOUR DUCK ARROIND OTHER DUCKS DURING MATING SEASON. The male ducks may kill your pet. They are very aggressive.
