Watch to learn how your favorite foods really grow! We eat these nuts and these fruits every day, but we never wondered where they came from. Some of these plants look really weird, and you will also find out that some foods are not really what you think they were. Are you ready to know what you were actually putting in your body? Today, we are showing you What Popular Foods Look Like Before Theyre Harvested. We were surprised to learn that peanuts actually grow in the ground. It is really unusual because the plant flowers above the ground while it fruits below the ground. But we were not ready to learn about an important fact about peanuts. They are not actually nuts but legumes like peas and lentils. If there is one good thing about this, it is that it probably means that they are healthier than we thought. We all know that chocolate comes from cacao. But do you know how it actually grows? They say that money doesnt grow on trees, but we dont care as long as chocolate does. The cacao tree produces fruits all year long, for up to 2, 000 pods a year. It makes us really happy to hear that this is a lot of chocolate. And this is a good reason to eat it as cacao is actually a fruit. Stay tuned to know what more popular foods look like before they are harvested like quinoa, dates, sesame seeds, cranberries, vanilla, pineapples, cinnamon, and cashews. Have you ever wondered how any other popular fruit grows? Dont be shy to share your thoughts in the comments section down below. We love to hear what you think
